I'm only just now getting round to reviewing our second holiday here which we took in Oct 2012 (first stay Oct 2011)...
I have just booked our third stay - two weeks in July. Coming back twice is testament to how lovely this hotel is with the friendliest staff, immaculate grounds, family friendly food, comfortable clean rooms...everything needed for the most relaxing and memorable holiday. Can't wait to return :)

A group of 19 of us stayed here in Sept 13 as me and hubby got married in Lindos, Picked the hotel for the views and the all inclusive, worth every single penny.

You could go to this hotel and not need to leave the resort once, the staff were brilliant, very clean, swimming pools amazing, the restaurants were beautiful (so much choice!!) You must check out the greek night outside the main restaurant, the gyros hut in the day time, the pina coloda's are to die for the staff were so helpful it was untrue.

We didnt even get married anywhere near this hotel but the hotel were brilliant, we had bottles of champagne in our room, bottles of champagne and ouzo delivered to our door the day after the wedding, when we returned from our wedding we had rose petals all over the bed and in the bath. All the little touches were amazing.

We are now looking at returning to this hotel as many times as we possibly can, just beautiful and by far the best views iv ever seen in a hotel

Room Tip: Upgrade to a superior, you will not be disappointed with the views!

The hotel was very good - we booked through Thomson and went all inclusive. We have had all-inclusive before and the food variety and quality in this hotel was very good. Try the al le carte restaurant near the main reception - pork kebabs were tasty. Lovely views and short walk to the beach clear water. We stayed mostly by one of the pools as this was relaxing. Plenty of sunshine during October half term. We took the ship from Rhodes town to Symi - this was beautiful and also to Lyndos was excellent. Would definitely go again but not all-inclusive as put on 6 kilo's!

Hi I've taken a while to get round to writing this review but as I'm gearing up to go back again this year feel compelled to share my views. This was our third visit to Rhodes but first to this hotel on my sons advice. On arriving at hotel late at night we were checked in efficiently but then waited for ages to be shown to our room eventually gave up and found it ourselves but this was the only bad experience of what turned out to be a fantastic holiday. Our superior room overlooked gardens and had a side sea view but we loved it for its central location and Birdseye view of safari bar at night I boogied on my balcony after returning from cocktail bar (dimitra you were brilliant) we had some very strong drinks here and worked our way through the menu yum!! We ate at all the restaurants and couldn't find fault in any of them food always plentiful and so fresh,I'm fussy about wine but enjoyed the carafes of rosy and white that were always served with a smile by efficient waiters. Room was kept spotless by friendly cleaners and minibar kept stocked throughout our stay here.Yes some people did book sun beds but we were always able to get one to suit us no matter what time of day we went. Special mention has to go to Cleopatra who always served you with a smile and worked tirelessly to serve the busy pool bar hope to see you again this year!! Will definitely be booking again soon which is so unlike me can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: All superior rooms looked good our room 926 was central but quiet with garden views

We stayed in this hotel in May 2013 and had a wonderful time, we we offered an upgrade when we arrived and had a double room which overlooked the pool and the sea.
The food could not be faulted, there was plenty of variety and was different each day, if you're a fussy eater then there was always chips!
Rooms were cleaned thoroughly each day and the hotel was immaculate.
Tea and coffee making facilities are available in the rooms but no milk, so you need to get some from the restaurants as well as sugar.
You have about 3 different pools to choose from and also an indoor pool, although they were a little bit too cold at first but you get used to it.
Staff were friendly and always willing to help, always greeted with a friendly smile and they even remembered our usual drinks.
entertainment was put on every night, from singers, to dancers to karaoke (which is embarrassing when your mom joins in) but all good fun.
My only criticism is that it isn't walking to distance to the town or any shops, however, taxis are always available at cheap prices, it was about 5 euros to the town.

Room Tip: Get a room overlooking the pool AND the sea as you are close to the main restaurant and pool. Might...

Me and my girlfriend had our first holiday in Rhodes in late October right at the end of the season and stayed at The Royal Kalithea, it was the best time of our lives! The weather was just perfect, not too uncomfortably hot and the resort wasn't busy as we first expected which is nice.
The resort is a massive place, there are two resorts which is owned by the same company and you use both of their facilities. You can switch to different buffet restaurants, there are about 2 main restaurants and about 5-6 bars which are located by the pools.
The view is breathtaking, it has it's own private beach which is located at the bottom of the resort, a shuttle bus will take you there and back as it is a massive place. It can be a walking distance depending on the location of your room.
As there are buffet restaurants, there are a big selection of food but it can be slightly boring sometimes. They have different themes and entertainments at night (Abba night, Beatles, Greek night, Chinese night, Ballroom dances etc.
The resort we thought was more aimed for families and couples. The staff were so very friendly, polite and they made sure our stay was well worth it!
The resort, rooms and everything are well looked after especially the gardens.
Wold definitely come back here again.

Room Tip: 754 was our room, bang on the middle of everything and a walk away from the beach! 800-900 our the b...

We stayed for a week late in the season and had a lovely time at this friendly hotel. You get two for the price of one here and can swip and swop between restaurants if you want a change. Lovely beach, always sun loungers around and we met some like minded people staying here. Clean, nice sized rooms kept to a simple style. Helpful staff that told us all about the local buses, markets and day trips. This could easily be a two week holiday spot. Had a great time.
