Booked via venere.com but thought we were getting 2 double beds in each room but seems this is not guaranteed if booking via a third party. However reception were accommodating and upgraded one room.

Reception were very friendly and helpful in finding us a Chinese restaurant to eat in locally although verbal directions differed to the correct printed ones.

Breakfast was great,

Gym was impressive.

Nice that Tonga rugby league team were staying too.

Would stay again

As you walk in there is a gorgeous smell of Xmas, ie cinnamon and all winter spices, and the hotel was very warm and cosy... We went to the bar where the service was excellent... All the staff were so friendly and all made a huge effort to say hallo. So first impressions were fab...

We were in Manchester for a function, and coming back to the hotel about midnight, we were greeted by two drunks girls throwing up.... and a commotion outside the hotel with a load of drunk people... Ok, so once we got past all of that we had a room outside the hotel, room 221.. Which was so pretty, but you had to walk in the rain and cold to get to the room, and when getting dressed up to go out, back in the cold to get into thw hotel, no biggie... But on returning after midnight, the area was pitch black, no lights at all, not the best when wearing heels and a long dress, we couldnt see the room numbers at all.... Thank the Lord for my phone, as I put the torch on and we found our room....

Breakfasts were lovely, and the food was good.

All in all, it was a lovely hotel, and we just let the receptionist know that the passage to our room was pitch black and dangerous, and just to be aware. She said it must have been the storms last night that blew those lights????????? Which was interesting, as there were no storms??????? It was more probably on a time switch.... But hey ho.... It would not stop us going back, but I would request a room in the hotel.

Room Tip: Do not have an outside room....

The overall impression and service is good but not remarkable. What was disappointing and made me feel very uncomfortable was the lack of sound proofing between rooms. Be able to hear the conversation, use of the bathroom, activities in bed ( I will say no more about that) of the people in the adjoining room would be fine if you we're together, but if you are not it makes you uncomfortable as they can also hear you. I traveled a lot and I don't expect this in major chain where they normally have worked out such basic design problems like this out of their buildings.
If you have a room without this fault I would think you would not notice the rest of the experience except the over priced access to the Internet. I would stay here again but I would insist on a room with no a joining door.

Room Tip: Make sure you a room (unless you want one) without an a joining door to neighbouring room if you val...

Have stayed here several times and can't fault it. Really comfortable beds, so quiet in the rooms and black out curtains so hard to wake up. Best breakfast ever with eggs cooked in front of you however you want. Great!

Have stayed at Worsley Park numerous times for leisure. Cant fault the hotel or the staff, the facilities are great and the location also, as it is just off the motorway. Breakfast is great here and we always look forward to staying here.

Stayed here for two nights in October on business, it's a nice high quality hotel in a country setting but very close links to the motorway. Great service and good food and (bottled) real ale in the bar. Just a good place to spend some time.

Room Tip: All rooms seemed OK, I just had a "standard" double and it was high quality and well fitte...

From reception to restaurant the service was great, if you are thinking of booking don't hesitate and for once the pool is actually bigger than it looks on the web site. Do they sell trousers in Tonga as they wore shorts 24/7? They actually had separate dining to the normal guests and seemed a nice group of people.
