We booked a table for bank holiday Sunday and assumed it would be crowded but it wasn't. The bar staff were quite welcoming and the pub area has a pleasant atmosphere. The conservatory where we ate has a lovely view and the Wisteria was in full bloom. The food was ok but the beef was, on our opinion, overlooked, the veg cold, the Yorkshire pud over cooked and the apple crumble was made with tinned apple which made it so so sweet. It wasn't as good as our first visit and as it's quite a drive we may well go elsewhere next time. A shame as the views are so good.
