if you like to Enjoy the scenery.
But do not expect friendly People like everywhere Else in Myanmar. You have to Pay 100 US $ but now they start to Fool you as much as possible. Charge for everything prices like in Europe. 11 $ for a simple Curry?!? 4 $ for a small Beer!?! And you are at the end of nowhere.
No Cappuccino for breakfast if you do not like to Pax extra?!?
Schade, dass gibt dem ganzen eine säuerliche Note.

We were taken here for lunch after our tour of Mount Popa. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking from the restaurant. Staff are kind and attentive. There is plenty to choose from - the menu caters for all. It is a lot pricier than anywhere we have been - each meal would be US$12 and above. The meal is not bad - I had the Myanmar curry and my children had the pasta. Only mean below this would be starters. View is however breathtaking

Quite expensive and the food was ok but for a place like this should be much better. Lovely views of Popa when you are eating .
BEWARE, there is a big con where they charge you $2 entry into the restaurant and say it’s for a warm can of Pepsi !! We we’re made to pay as we were told we did not have a reservation, the place was empty not one person eating there yet they insisted that we pay an entry fee to the restaurant!!
We later found out that this is a scam and we should not have paid !

Deluxe room with clear view of Mount Popa and sunset view for cheaper than any 5 star hotel, well worth your money! And breakfast included And if you’re a hiker, there’s the 11-mile round trip hike to the summit right outside the hotel, with breath taking panoramic view and hidden pagodas along the way. Two nights here would be enough.

there is a deep connection with the people and the mountain and landscape here. the resort itself is high in the mountains and looks over the temple grounds high on an adjacent old volcanic plug. a picture paints a thousand words. so worth the walk down the trail and up the 700 odd stairs up to the top. there were very few tourists and many pilgrims there so this site is special. mind the monkeys though and dispense with sunglasses as the monkeys like to take them. we walked down and took a taxi back - beautiful at dusk from the top - do go! . beautiful food at the resort and they take great care to make your stay great. their large dining areas indoors and out have spectacular views over the mountains. lots of hikes on site and around this area as well. the sacred site abound so do some reading so you dont miss out on them as you walk up the mountain.

It's a beautiful place to stay - the location, the resort, the staff, the villas - the views (and not just of the monastery). Spent one night here and thoroughly appreciated it. Everything here cost more than anywhere else in Myanmar, but it is something of a special one, and like anywhere, such privilege costs. Would definitely recommend a stay if you are contemplating it. The views, moments and photo opportunities were wonderful.
