What we enjoyed most was the quiet, the impression that we were alone in the world. Drinking a glass of wine outside while watching the sunset was heaven...And yet, the village was very close, with shops and restaurants for dinner in town.
Luisella was the most charming of hosts, she was both discreet and helpful.
We hignly recommend her place for a restful and interesting holiday.

We stayed in Salina Holiday Home in 2014 and enjoyed its unique location on the island of Sant Antioca which is accessible by causeway. The cottage is on a peninsula overlooking the Mediterranean, with lots of land around the quiet, comfortable one bedroom cottage.

The location is perfect for all those, who are not attracted by busy places. Totally relaxed setting, on a large private ground, with rocky access to the sea, perfect for swimming, snorkeling or fishing. The sandy beach is in walking distance, too, though. Restaurants and shops 5 mins drive in nearby Calasetta. Children will love it.
And last but definitely not least, Luisella is such a nice and helpful person!

This is a remarkable relaxing haven close to the magnificent beaches of Calasetta. The site is a tastefully renovated farm house situated on a large gated farm protected from what in summer would be a busy beach community. Luisella is a warm, helpful, unobtrusive hostess who lives in an adjacent home. The "apartment" is spotless and equipped with modern appliances. The WiFi works! The main town is a five minute drive away and has a number of smallish grocery stores although a bigger better store is 10km away Lidl in San' Antocio. To find the place Google La Salina- drive through Calasetta to the road along the beaches Via Sotto Toro . Follow this road for several kms past the Salina Camp grounds and the first Spiaggia sign. At the second Spiaggia sign enter the flagstone roadway. Go the the very end and enter the roadway Strada Private. You have arrived! Phone Luisella or call from the gate and the gate will be opened.
