Service and food were disappointing. Arrived down for pre-dinner drinks both nights but no room in the very small bar and generally felt neglected. Staff at reception and bar often absent. Room at front was quite small and noisy from articulated lorries on nearby road. Food was well presented but fairly bland. The hotel has character and potential but is not secluded and the staff need to take an interest in their customers and ensure their needs are attended to.
