Gigi's Bistro is definitely magical. This charming place is located on the beach, so you can dine and watch the sunset, the pelicans diving for their dinner, and hear the enchanting sounds of the ocean. The menu is extremely eclectic... I have enjoyed French, Japanese and Thai food there and no matter what you order, you will be highly impressed with the quality, quantity and presentation of the dishes. Their entrees come with soup or salad and dessert. The mango pie is phenomenal! They have smaller dishes as well and a nice selection of wine. You can order in English, Spanish, or French. The owner has been there every time I dined there, working hard and spreading her contagious smile and love of life and food. When in Melaque, Gigi's Bistro is a must visit eatery!

This restaurant is open Monday through Friday and serves an eclectic variety of food, from French to Thai. The vegetable pad thai is great, so is the seafood ravioli. The entrees include soup or salad (the lobster bisque was divine) and dessert, either the wonderful mango cheese pie or carrot cake, homemade ice cream or sorbets. The owner is there each night, very accommodating and the setting by the Pacific is lovely. There are also a wide choice of light food, for those who don't want a full meal. Highly recommended.

It'a charming restaurant right in front of the sea. Great place for sunset and dining. We had the most delicious creamy seafood lasagna and shrimp pad thaï, that came with a soup or salad and wonderful desserts. They had rabbit a la provençcale and mahi-mahi in a horseradish sauce. Hard to choose from one to another. They also offer small appetites items and interresting vegeterians dishes.
We'll be back to try other food.
