We loved staying in this house, and in this village.
The house: An old stone townhouse on three levels joined by narrow, winding wooden stairways. Beautifully restored. Very clean. Most of the furniture is beautiful and antique. Huge fireplace on the lower level, which heats the house.
Naves, the village: A tiny, quiet village of stone houses, pavements, and archways at the intersection of magnificent hiking trails into the surrounding hills and countryside. Very quiet, filled with flowers, close to a larger town (Les Vans) with restaurants, stores, and whatever else a person might need. Touristy, but not spoiled by ugly development.
The hosts: Very friendly and helpful. We speak enough French to get by, so I can't comment on using English here.
> There was an extra fee for bed linens and towels, so you might want to bring your own, although the fee was not exorbitant.
> The village and house are wonderful for people who don't have trouble with stairs, cobblestones, and walking.
