Start with the good 1st very friendly on arriving sheets and duvets very clean towels lovely and fresh, I quite like the DIY breakfast and clean and tidy breakfast room. Now for the bad bits. The room was quite clean but hot tap in the bathroom sink broken turned the tap on and the whole tap turned round, the signal on the preview tv was so bad couldn't watch any of my favourite programs so I miss emmadale, Corrine and eastenders so ended up watching a only fools and horses DVD that luckily I brought with me, the wires behind the tv was horrendous no wonder I couldn't get a signal and the pull cord in the bathroom was in the middle of the door frame.Would I stay here again maybe if they fixed these problems.

Stayed for 1 night as family of 3, this is not really a bed and breakfast, and is not manned by anyone during your stay...... The breakfast only consists of cereals, porridge or toast, with your toast it's either Nutella or jam!! Orange juice, tea or coffee, this is all self service and you MUST CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF!!!!! It's more like a basic chalet then a B & B , how on earth it got 5 stars for hygiene is beyond me when it's mainly the people paying and staying that do the cleaning!! We stayed on ground floor and it felt more like a sleepover in someone's garage, the beds were not comfortable and 1 out of the 3 was Disgusting with been lumpy with springs, this cost £68 for a night stay and was definitely not worth the money!!!! Especially as there was no cooked breakfast !! I would not recommend this place and certainly not stay again...... It certainly does not Warrant a 5 star Hygiene certificate !!!!! This place is on a busy main road, so be aware of this and there is no service to rate but I had to give a 1 star as nothing lower!

Room tip: Don't think there is a good room!!

Stayed here 1 night and that was 1 night too long!!! Booked online and was paying when we got there as said no prepayment needed when online. 2 days later received and email to say my payment was unsuccessful!!!!! On calling up was told payment was always taken before and the online needed updating!! That's not my problem pal.
When we got there found a small family room with a tiny shower room. Wanted a cuppa but all signs tell you that you can't take one into your room and cctv was watching!!!! We were in room 7 and the 3 beds are like the Goldilocks story!! 1 was too soft. 1 was lumpy and the middle one that I had .......I could count every spring as they were wedged in my back for 8 long painful Unslept hours!!
Breakfast. Well if you like cereal your ok cos that's all there is folks. Oh and toast. You self serve and have to wipe all the sides after you like all the signs and cctv tell you to!!

Would I stay again??

I'd rather pitch a tent on the M1 and lay on the tarmac as it would be more comfortable

How it get a 5 for food hygiene is beyond me as it doesn't do real food and 3 stars is beyond a joke

Anyway I'm off to the chiropractor for my back now

This b&b was very basic but had clean bed linen and fluffy white towels. The breakfast was again very simple self service. Cereal and toast, juice, tea and coffee. Room for only three cars on the drive so we had to find on street parking. £50 for a last minute booking was a fair price. No-one in the property so if any problems a phone number was available.

Its somewhere to rest your head. Very basic but at least clean. Came here with my husband and son for the night before their rough runner event.
Dont expect to be pampered its very much serve yourself.
A few pointers for improvement:
Invest in some decent pillows
Could feel the springs in mattress, so maybe even a matteress topper would help.
Double duvet on the double bed- would prevent squabbling over a single duvet between two.
Again breakfast is basic- a choice of cereals, tea coffee, toast and spreads.- do it yourself.
Its ok again just as somewhere to kip but probably not somewhere you'd want for a break.
Think owner should or could make more effort to ensure his guests are comfortable. But owner seemed very busy doing his own diy.
