“Not to my expectation”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 August 2014

Not quite to my expectation, a little bit intimidating as i noticed to the staff of the shops they will look at you from head to toe but once they see you with a shopping bag on hand they are more friendly and accomodating. The friendliest staff are from guess and michael korrs shop- they accomodate you nicely even if you are just browsing around. Compared to the la vallee village in france, i would go back to france in terms of prices and friendliness of the staff.

“I like visiting for a browse”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 August 2014

I tend to visit a couple of times a year as I can stay not too far away. I wouldn't visit so often if I had to travel from London.

Each time we visit there seems to be one fewer high street shop - there used to be Monsoon, Jigsaw and Coast but not any more. Not cheap as such but good if you want designer items at less than full price or Clarks shoes and good for a browse, but a shame that the mix has gone. I like the Pandora and Links of London outlets.

Definitely arrive early as parking is a pain and if possible weekdays seem better.

The shop assistants / security are generally friendly but fellow customers can be very rude which is unpleasant, but unfortunately you can get that in any shopping centre.

“Not as good as we hoped”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 August 2014

Lots of people rave about Bicester Village but we were disappointed. The bargains are no better than the sales in the local shopping centres and Cruset, for example, is cheaper to purchase in TK Maxx.
if you are travelling from outside the EU, the place is worth a visit as you can have your tax refunded onsite so the prices probably work out well.
There are not many places to eat. Go to Westfield/Romford/the Bullring if you want a nice shopping experience.

“Waste of time, suggest you walk into Bicester Town Centre”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 August 2014 via mobile

If you have too much money and no idea about how to get a good bargain then this is the place for you.

We ended up taking the 10 minute walk into Bicester Town Centre where there are proper shops where real people go shopping.

Suggest you visit the Town not the Village.

“Not My Cup Of Tea!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 August 2014

It's an outlet, the car parks full but free, lots of people mainly of Arabic origin who arrived in a limo or on a coach from London, lots of posers and bored housewives, footballers wives, lots of designer brands and nannies, got the idea! Worth a look once I suppose but not my cup of tea....
