Our stay at Lewa House was absolutely fabulous! The lodge is set in beautiful surroundings, the architecture of the rooms extremely original, and the view from the rooms is breath-taking. Everything at Lewa House is perfect: from the service, to the food, to the quality of accommodations, to the guide's and the staff's professionalism, to our hosts' professionalism and friendliness which make you feel very much at ease and at home. In addition to the traditional game drives, we were able to do night drives, long walks through the bush, horse rides in the bush. Guests who wish to , can relax by the pool (from where we can watch the surrounding wildlife) or visit the conservancy from above in Sophie's uncle's open plane. Our stay at Lewa House was exceptional - the only downside was that our 3 day stay was too short! We are looking forward to going back, and recommend Lewa House to any one who is looking for an un forgetful experience of extremely refined luxury in the wild! When staying at Lewa House you cannot be disappointed (only of not staying long enough). Don't miss out on Lewa House!

Room Tip: All rooms have a beautiful view, no tip is required. Disappointment is impossible at Lewa House

Catherine it was great to meet you and we're happy you had a great time. It was fascinating to compare notes on living in Kenya vs Burkina Faso! It was also fascinating finding out about the conservation work going on there and in the rest of rest of Africa. Many thanks for coming to stay and we hope to se you again one day. Kind regards Calum, Sophie and the Lewa House team.

Lewa House was the perfect place for our "family" of 11 to begin our African Safari adventures!! Sopohie and Calum have created a loving home and opened there doors to strangers soon to become friends!!! The setting is gorgeous, the lawn and pool great play areas, the fireplace and dining room bring all guests together for lively conversation and delicious food!!! Our guides, Daniel, Joseph and Calum, shared their extensive knowledge and love of the Conservancy, helping us to appreciate every moment!!! Thank you all for a most wonderful and heartfelt experience!!! El S.

Many thanks for the review El, its much appreciated. We love to share this wonderful place with our guests - Kenya and Lewa in particular are magical. Part of the magic is that everyone can enjoy it, whether you are 6 years old or 65 everyone loves to see the animals. Kind regards Sophie, Calum and the Lewa House team.

Our 11 person "family" (ages 6 to 65), stayed 3 nights at Lewa House and thoroughly fell in love with Calum and Sophie, their kids, our guides Daniel and Joseph, and the warmth and splendor of Lewa Conservancy. Meals were superior (sea salt frosted cucumber sorbet!), cottages luxurious (we slept with our doors open to the Kenya air), and every game drive produced amazing photos. The kids loved the pool and seeing the game close up. And the added bonus, the stellar efforts of the Conservancy Trust.

My husband and I stayed in Lewa House for two nights in February. It was a truly wonderful experience. I was blown away by the warmth and friendliness of the hosts, Sophie and Calum, who totally opened their home to the guests. The house is beautiful, very cosy. Our individual cottage was modern, yet charming. Food was great, all meals were eaten in a communal style either in the lawn for breakfast, by the pool for lunch, and the main house for dinner. Staff was very helpful and attentive. Great game and our guide, Joseph was very friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend Lewa House to everyone with absolutely no reservations. Should have been called Lewa Home and not House!!

I think a name change might be in order - "Lewa Home" definitely has a ring to it and is exactly how we feel about it. Sophie's family have lived on Lewa for 5 generations and we love to share that experience with our guests. We're glad you liked our new rooms - we designed them to make the most of the view whilst being as a comfortable as possible. Many thanks for the great review. Kind regards from Calum, Sophie and the Lewa House team.

Lewa House was a dream. I was there with family and friends for 4 days in January. Everything was perfect and ALL the people were most lovely. The hosts (their beautiful children), the staff, food, setting, vibe were all beyond measure. I can't think of enough descriptors to brag about. Anyone who ever has the lucky chance to visit, will remember the stay for always..... Julie Battel, Boston, Mass.

Debbie, many thanks for your review and glad you had a good time at Lewa House. New Years eve is always great fun but there is always the dilemma - stay up late and see in the New Year or get up early to see those animals! Kind regards from Sophie, Calum and the rest of the Lewa House team.
