Accommodation is in semi-detached cabins of nice design, but expect to be able to hear the individual words spoken by your neighbours, soundproofing is so poor; we also found very unpleasant and dangerous-looking wiring to the bedside lamps, and the whole complex is a building site. We looked out over the building of a multi-storey extension and felt lucky that our tour took us there for just one night. They charged for even one bottle of water in the rooms, and the pillows were excruciatingly uncomfortable.
The restaurant was, at best, rated as 'fair' - a dinner we found very bland, uninteresting, and not especially 'Myanmar' and breakfast by far the poorest we encountered in the Country - think of unpleasantly greasy fatty bacon, sliced white bread and not even a choice of jams/preserves, plus stewed bitter coffee.
Staff were, as we found throughout the Country, helpful and courteous, though the command of English was not as good as some other hotels.
We were booked in as part of a tour; if booking separately I'd recommend looking for somewhere else, though in fairness it might be better when the building works are finished - though in Oct 13 that did not look near !More
