This German themed restaurant is located a fair drive from the Taos Ski Valley base. It is cheerfully decorated to replicate a Bavarian restaurant - wooden painted walls and a vaulted ceiling. You even sit on a sheep skin. And the restaurant's staff is cheerful and very helpful, dressed in location specific attire. There is a great selection of German beers and wines and a German themed menu.
We split a quite good spinach salad, but the rest of he meal was very average. The Schnitzel was less than average, and the strudel for dessert was quite heavy. With limited dining option in TSV it is worth consideration, but we are not rushing back.
