Location: Efficient, welcoming hotel just off the highway. Road fairly busy because it leads right to highway, but did quiet down nicely for sleeping.

Room: stayed in a family room for 5. A double plus a rollaway in one room and in the living room 2 additional rollaway beds. Impeccably clean rooms with plentiful storage and modern bathroom. Shampoo and soap was provided. Bath/shower was the ever-challenging European handheld type, but plenty of towels were provided!

Amenities: Lovely sitting area where we could relax and play cards. Air con in 1 of the 2 rooms, but was efficient in cooling both rooms. No alarm clock.

Food: We decided to eat dinner at the hotel because of the delicious smells, as well as the charm and medieval character of the restaurant and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed a wonderfully tasty and hearty dinner. Also included in the nightly rate was a filling breakfast of breads, yogurt and fruit, with the addition of several lovely cooked to order breakfasts (eggs, pancakes, bacon and such). Breakfast staff was very pleasant, as well as efficient.

Would recommend without hesitation! Well done!

Staying two nights and having one lunch I can recommend this hotel. For Chech people it might be expensive but coming from an expensive country the overall quality and service is really worth of the money. Staff was very polite, smiling except one younger lady who did not know the rules and words like thank you - only sometimes she did that.

Room Tip: Suite was spacious - though the own terrase was not so convenient. Windows good be bigger to see more of the beautiful landscape. Probably normal business room has even better price-quality ratio. My boss tayed in that room and was happy.

Very well presented and friendly hotel in a nice quiet village but close to the motorway. Rooms are large and equipped with electrically adjustable bed and have cable tv and wifi . Perfect for the business traveller. Outstanding restaurant.

This is a beautifully restored, family owned hotel and restaurant in the countryside of the Czech Republic. The rooms are spotless and view is breathtaking. It is very quiet and they cater to both weekend getaways and business travelers. They are very attentive and willing to help. Although in Czech this is a more expensive hotel, compared to American hotels it is a great deal. The rooms are very comfortable and each offers a private bathroom with shower. They also have TV’s in the room and you can usually pick up Czech, German and some British Television. The restaurant is beautifully decorated in old décor and the food is exceptional. They offer a wide variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner and you must try a desert while you are there. The staff is great and they are very welcoming of foreign travelers. It is within walking distance of a small town and castle ruins. I would definitely recommend a stay here if you are in the area.
