Wow, what a wonderful experience! The service is great, the view is great and the food is awesome. And all for a very reasonable price.

“JUST A GREAT LITTLE GEM IN GORDONS BAY”
Reviewed 7 May 2014 via mobile

Zest is a real gem... Heard some great reviews so decided to give them a try.

My wife and I had breakfast at Zest and took our 9 month old spaniel with. The staff was friendly fast and efficient. Our spaniel got some water without us even asking.

I had the full breakfast an the Mrs the omelet... I also ordered a cupachino and and orange juice. We were delighted to see and taste the quality of the food, ample not greasy and delicious! The Mrs was also very impressed with her omelette and the cupachino was really tasty.

Real value for money, my vote 5 star's!

“Great for Sunsets and Vegetarians!”
Reviewed 18 April 2014

Being a vegetarian, eating in South Africa was difficult and not at all varied. From a recommendation by a local I decided to give this place a go. I was so pleased with the food, the scenery and the price I returned a couple of times and still didn't manage to eat every vegetarian option on the menu!

This restaurant is not just for vegetarians at all. The closest I can compare it to is modern Australian cuisine with local produce. Highly recommended, even just for an afternoon drink watching the sun set over the beach which is literally across the road.

Although this may be a little expensive for South African standards, I found it very reasonably priced. If fact, I ordered a glass of wine for the equivalent of AUD$7, which is fine especially as it was a sauvignon blanc from a local vineyard and it turned out that was the price for the whole bottle!
