“Tojinbo”
Reviewed 4 November 2013

I visited this area in the middle of a winter storm and it was stunningly beautiful and a bit scary. There were very few people around because of he weather and so we had the place mostly to ourselves which is a rare luxury in Japan.

“Interesting place”
Reviewed 20 August 2013

Rock formations apparantly similar to Giants Causeway in Ireland but not so dramatic although cliffes taller. Interesting views and has a seasidey feel because of shops/stalls on walk to them.
Very busy on day we visited and hot on rocks. No beach.
Had ice cream in cafe overlooking the sea with good views.

“Awesome!”
Reviewed 8 April 2013

We went in spring and enjoyed the cliffs and rock formations very much. There was a strong wind but it wasn't chilly. There is a lot of flora there and the waters are clear enough to see the coral. Walking on the rocks (when dry) was an awesome experience. Apparently this is a popular place for committing suicide although I cannot understand why as it's hard to feel pessimistic when looking at the beautiful scenery.

“A fun place to hang out for an hour or two!”
Reviewed 18 August 2012

The cliffs are really more like rock formations, but maybe that is just symantecs. We enjoyed walking around the rocks and did not really think we needed to take the boat tour.

The boardwalk was fun -- touristy, but "local" touristy, so it was fine. We had an ice cream and a nice seafood snack.

“Nice walk and great sea food”
Reviewed 30 May 2012

I would suggest going down the main walk for your souvenirs and snacks, but veering to the left once you reach the ocean for the more scenic and private path for a nice walk. Be careful when walking on the rocks. I would not advise going on the rocks when it is raining or very windy. It is a nice site, but I would not make a special trip just to see this location.
