The hotel is somewhat outdated and old, but facilities do work. The was no smoking in the rooms, but the room smelled of tobacco. In a twin bed room there was very little closed space to unpack your luggage, but other than that the room was large enough for two people. The room had separate bathroom and toilet, water boiler and a TV, as well as a modern air conditioner. There is no WiFi network or internet connection available in the hotel. The breakfast at the hotel was a Japanese styled, but served in a very western way. The hotel has an onsen bath, free if you have a room.
There's really nothing of interest close by to the hotel, but there is a supermarket a few blocks away as well as train stop to centre of Saku (the trains run only about once an hour, so check the schedule). The staff speaks very little or next to no English.
