“Best place to do your shopping:)”
Reviewed 15 January 2014

It's located next to an artificial lake ( yes, artificial but who cares? It's still a wonderful view! ) and it's Japan's largest shopping mall to date. You can find almost anything you want and you wouldn't be bored the whole day. The place is huge and you should watch out if you're bringing children.

Only downside is that it's located a bit far from the major attractions in Tokyo. But if you're an expat and plan to stay in Japan for a while, I definitely recommend you to check it out.

“Koshigaya Laketown - Massive in Size and Fun”
Reviewed 31 October 2011

Going to this mall can be done by either driving or taking the train. The train station (Koshigaya-Laketown Station on the JR Musashino Line) is located right at its doorstep while parking is easy due to the large amount parking spaces provided.

The Mall itself is generally split into Kaze (Wind, Blue) and Mori (Forest, Green). Walking from the train station, you'll first arrive at Kaze, where the more upscale shops are and you will have to walk quite a bit to get into Mori where the cheaper brands are found. Look out for the ultra real mannequin on your way over, he's pretty surreal! There are big food courts and many restaurants available, so eating is not a problem at all.

There's a newly added Outlet which I found quite interesting, but I have seen better ones elsewhere. Do drop by if you have the time, but don't beat yourself up if you don't.

All in all, you'll easily spend hours due to the sheer size of this mall alone. But it'll be a fun and comfortable time for anyone who visits the largest mall in Japan :)
