After lots of research on properties in the Cotswolds, we decided on Willow Tree Cottage and I am so glad we did.
From the moment you pull up on the drive you are blown away by how lovely it is, inside and out.
The cottage is spotless and has everything you need for a wonderful stay.
We loved every moment and didn't want to leave this amazing cosy place.
The pub is only a couple of minutes walk away, and we had a lovely meal there (make sure you bring the torch provided as there are no street lights)
Chedworth is lovely and a great base to explore the beautiful Cotswolds and Willow Tree Cottage is without doubt idyllic in every way, we have recommended it to our friends and they have already booked. You wont be disappointed.
We stayed for 3 nights over my birthday in January 2018, Chedworth is a village spread over a long road but the cottage is near to the pub and church, the cottage itself is beautiful with so much character and the fixtures and fittings are of the highest standard.
There were only 2 of us so we had plenty of room considering there was another double room with en-suite bathroom plus the little box room of the en-suite also available which would be ideal for children.
The second Double room is ideal for adults but isn't I would suggest suitable for young children as it does have a set of stairs to the lounge in the room which are quite steep.
The log burner is excellent and the cottage is on a quiet road in Chedworth with a stream running past the front door, there is off road parking for perhaps 5 cars on the drive and the local Pub the Seven Tuns literally 50 yards away.
We had a fantastic time and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the cottage.
