Just spent four nights at this lovely hotel. The setting is stunning and the hotel is bright and airy with lovely rooms all of which share the amazing views.

The food is great and while there are other places to eat in Elne we couldn't resist coming back each night as there is a good range of well presented options on the menu and nothing beats eating out on the terrace overlooking the mountains.

The owner is around most days and is friendly and helpful. He has an uncanny knack of being able to predict the weather so it's always worth asking him for his forecast before heading out each day.

Room Tip: All the rooms have good views but the second floor is better

This Hotel just gets better, quainter and more appealing every time I visit. The food is superb and totally relevant for the atmosphere and panoramic views that impress everyone who visits. The rooms are clean, new, functional and simply there for sleep, lay-ins, siestas and anything else required. Run by Jon, a seriously good cook, it is a hidden gem for locals and visitors.
Whatever you do, eat at this hotel, the dishes are star worthy without any snobbism at all.

Room Tip: Ask for Room 101

We arrived in search of sun and a relaxing break in a picturesque location. This is it! John (owner) was very welcoming and a pleasure to talk to. He gave us some good recommendations for local beaches and trips. The room was lovely with a great view (from the bathroom too!) and furnished to a high standard. Nice outside area for drinks or breakfast. Fabulous evening meals - we ate there twice during our three night stay. Would highly recommend and made a perfect holiday coupled with a trip to collioure.

I stayed at this hotel in March 2014 while on a business trip. The views were fantastic - snow-capped mountains in the distance; the set menu each evening was excellent; the staff were very friendly. The room was comfortable, quiet and had wifi. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone travelling in this region. It's also only a 15 minute drive from the beach!

I have stayed here a couple of times and the setting, service and food have been faultless.
I now often visit to enjoy food that is worthy of a great restaurant anywhere, but at reasonable prices and with a vista that money can't buy.
Would highly recommend as a stopping point to break the journey from UK to Spain.
The english owner John has been here for 15 years and is always welcoming.

Room Tip: If available a front facing room with the mountain view is a special treat in the morning.
