Plas Farmhouse B & B

Reviewed 15 October 2013

We spent 3 nights in this beautiful old farmhouse that Julie and her husband have renovated and decorated with such style. We were attending a wedding at the nearby Grove Hotel and were delighted to have found it. It is only a couple of miles away from the hotel through country lanes. Conveniently situated very close to the centre of the small town of Narbeth near to the church and yet in a very peaceful setting, it was just perfect. Julie has thought of everything to make her guests stay comfortable with lots of thoughtful extras provided. The bedroom overlooked the garden and fields beyond and we had the use of a private bathroom. The breakfasts were superb with local and homemade produce. It was the first time I had tried "poor man's caviar" ( dried seaweed that is sprinkled over scrambled eggs and locally smoked salmon)....very tasty! There are plenty of walks from the door and the coast is only 20 mins or so away by car. We shall definitely return for another relaxing break.

Room Tip: It would be an excellent place for a group of friends to stay as it can accommodate 6 people. Only 1...

Many thanks for posting a review for us! It was great to meet to you both and we are delighted you had such a lovely weekend away from Tapas at Ultracomida to a splendid wedding at The Grove. We hope it isn't too long until we see you again.

Wow, this is a really beautiful, peaceful, relaxing B&B in a beautiful part of the world.Julie made us feel incredibly welcome - everything was perfect - a big pot of tea when we arrived, the beautifully-restored 16th century farmhouse, the cosy sitting room, the comfortable bedroom, the delicious breakfast with fresh ingredients (and a special mention for the honey & marmalade!). Plas Farmhouse richly deserves all the excellent reviews it's received. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay for longer - next time we will!!

Enjoyed our 3 night stay in this lovely old farmhouse immensely. It is ideally situated within easy walking distance from the little town of Narbeth so finding food in the evening was easy. After the superb breakfast, lunch was out of the question for us! It is a shame that out of the numerous pubs in the town there was not one that had any real character, perhaps an opening for someone?
Julie could not have been more welcoming or helpful and we really enjoyed our 'chats' with her. Her rooms are beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to explore the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast and countryside.

Just had three wonderful days with Julie who made us most welcome. Set in a tranquil location overlooking open countryside, yet within walking distance of good restaurants and quaint market town shops. Will certainly be returning and already recommended friends to visit. Thanks again...Roger and Diane

An idyllic location and fabulously trendy yet tasteful B and B. Loved the quirky touches like the Princess and the Pea doll on the staircase. Julie was friendly and welcoming and cooked a delicious breakfast. The bedrooms were delightful and cosy and it was great to have use of a sitting room. A charming place to stay-hope to return soon!

Room Tip: All rooms beautiful. Sorry B and B obviously hasn't got a swimming pool or fitness centre-just...

We have just returned from a 5 day stop at Plas Farmhouse. The house was lovely as was the food and host. Very comfortable bed, furnishings and quality bathroom. The Welsh breakfast was great with locally sourced produce of a very high quality and cooked to perfection. The host Julie was very friendly and extremely helpful with suggestions of where to go and best eateries. Best place wev'e stayed and great value.
