Ranked #2 of 11 Narberth B&B and Inns
Reviewed 19 December 2013 via mobile

Stayed here with a colleague for 2 nights while working nearby. Lovely, quiet place with character. Julie, the owner, is very friendly and welcoming and cooks excellent breakfasts. Short walk to main street in Narberth. Thoroughly recommend.

We spent two nights at the Farmhouse - could not have asked for more. Julie, the owner, ensured we were well looked after, breakfast was superb and the location is perfect for walks in the countryside of shopping and eating very fine food in the town. Delighted with the stay and would go back again

Room Tip: There are only two rooms, both superb but the ensuite is ideal.

Just back from the most relaxing stay imaginable at Plas Farmhouse. Julie was the perfect hostess, incredibly welcoming. The farmhouse is beautiful. Julie really has thought of absolutely everything. From the Cowshed toiletries in the room to the selection of teas and the magazines and DVDs in the cozy sitting room everything was perfect. We stayed in the ensuite double, a light and spacious room with views over the fields. The breakfast was to die for; it was nice being able to sample products from local suppliers. Plas Farmhouse is in an excellent location as well, just a couple of minutes walk into the centre of Narberth with it's quaint shops and restaurants, but really quiet and peaceful too. 100% worth a visit - just be warned, you won't want to leave!

Thank you! We are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us so much. We are lucky the B & B is located in such a good spot with the views of the countryside but handy to pop out to the High Street a very short walk away. We hope you will return for another stay sometime soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Plas Farmhouse - only minus was our stay was so short.

Julie the owner was fantastic and even allowed me to have beans with my smoked salmon - although her excellent local knowledge meant that I had to part with money after an antique shop recommendation!

The rooms are fantastic and full of character, the breakfast was delicious and the location means you are only a step away from the town centre - even though you wouldn't know it as you look out from the windows onto beautiful countryside views and couldn't hear any noise at all.

We would thoroughly recommend this place - and will certainly return soon.

We spent 3 nights in this beautiful old farmhouse that Julie and her husband have renovated and decorated with such style. We were attending a wedding at the nearby Grove Hotel and were delighted to have found it. It is only a couple of miles away from the hotel through country lanes. Conveniently situated very close to the centre of the small town of Narbeth near to the church and yet in a very peaceful setting, it was just perfect. Julie has thought of everything to make her guests stay comfortable with lots of thoughtful extras provided. The bedroom overlooked the garden and fields beyond and we had the use of a private bathroom. The breakfasts were superb with local and homemade produce. It was the first time I had tried "poor man's caviar" ( dried seaweed that is sprinkled over scrambled eggs and locally smoked salmon)....very tasty! There are plenty of walks from the door and the coast is only 20 mins or so away by car. We shall definitely return for another relaxing break.

Room Tip: It would be an excellent place for a group of friends to stay as it can accommodate 6 people. Only 1...

Wow, this is a really beautiful, peaceful, relaxing B&B in a beautiful part of the world.Julie made us feel incredibly welcome - everything was perfect - a big pot of tea when we arrived, the beautifully-restored 16th century farmhouse, the cosy sitting room, the comfortable bedroom, the delicious breakfast with fresh ingredients (and a special mention for the honey & marmalade!). Plas Farmhouse richly deserves all the excellent reviews it's received. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay for longer - next time we will!!
