We visited for a late Saturday lunch. If you can, it's best to avoid the 12.30-2.00 period as there is usually a long wait for a table between these times on Saturdays . We had a short wait while dishes were cleared and the table cleaned. There is a very good selection of wine including guest wines and the choice of tapas and larger plates is excellent. We recommend the goats cheese on toast drizzled with honey, the houmous is delicious and the selection of meats and cheese plates are great to share. If you prefer a larger plate of food or a filled barra (spanish bread) or panini these are also available. Bread, olive oils, vinegars and olives are provided as accompaniments to an aperitif..
Space is at a premium here so you need to be prepared to sit with strangers whichis usually a friendly experience. The tables are large and communal.
Reservation for lunch is not available. There is however the possiblility of booking the whole place for a private party which we have not yet tried.
An enjoyable experience. Definitely worth a visit.

Visited here this weekend with my wife after reading other reviews on here. We arrived about 3.45pm and found seats easily enough, but the waiter explained a lot of the food on the menu had sold out, however there was still plenty to chose from and we were not disappointed, 6 dishes, 2 soft drinks and 2 coffees later and we were ready to burst (and for less than £40). Highlight was the aubergine and honey dish! Would like to visit again with a full menu on offer

There is a small restaurant just behind the shop, a deli specialising in food and wine from Spain. The menu is tapas-based, but serves more besides. One shares tables with other guests and as like as not exchanges conversation with them. The waitresses are friendly and helpful. We chose a light lunch. It was delicious and the bill was very reasonable. Why can't other small towns have places like this?

Found out about this place online before visiting Narbeth for a 3 day stay so decided to check it out when we were in town. The tapas restaurant only seats 30 and is at the back of the actual Deli. It's so popular that come 12noon people are queing out the door to eat here, so be prepared for a wait if you get here late. It's also got limited opening hours so check online for the details. After waiting for about 15mins - and cajoled into trying different nibbly samples from the Deli while we waiting (yum): We got seated at the bar - right under the large skylight - on a hot day. I nearly boiled to death. Unfortunately the waiter buggered up our order - he obviously realised at some point and apologised. It seemed the order never went through to the kitchen so we ended up waiting an hour for our food! But, to be fair, we were told we wouldn't be charged for our drinks, so we had 4 free soft drinks. When it did eventually come the food was lush. But: Another little gripe - we ordered the octopus dish and we never received it. So service was slightly haphazard BUT we can't fault the food: So, so tasty. The portions here are slightly larger than the usual Tapas portions too. The Deli stocks lots of scrummy things directly from suppliers in Spain. You can ask to try before you buy and there are lots of little samples left out for you to help yourself to. We went back for lunch again a day later too. Ok so service can be haphazard but I really would recommend this place because the food is great!

We visited Narberth on Good Friday with my sister and her partner and popped in at 1pm to have an early birthday lunch as I visited on my birthday last year and loved it.
Although almost full we got a table at the bar (although we asked to move half an hour later as we were being baked by the sun coming through the skylight as it was such a lovely day, but the staff were more than happy for us to do that). It was busy but the staff were still friendly and cheerful despite that you could tell they were under pressure.

We ordered a selection of tapas dishes; chorizo in cider, deep fried anchovies, pork belly with beans, rabbit paella, deep fried octopus, and prawns. All as delicious as the last time. The only downside is that we didn't receive any extra bread after the first lot we had with olives, which would have been good for dipping in the chorizo juices, but to be honest I didn't need it and I could have asked if I really wanted it! We shared two churros and dipping hot chocolates for pudding, delicious.

4 tapas dishes, two beers, two large house red (tasty) and one churros came to £37 which I felt was really good value for money. I was stuffed and very happy :)
