We first visited this restaurant after seeing its excellent reviews. The restaurant is small, due to being at the back of a (brilliant) deli, so you will end up having to share tables with strangers, and possibly queueing at busier times.
The staff were very attentive, providing us with fresh bottles of water and bowls of bread, both before we had ordered, and during our meal. We ordered a variety of tapas dishes on both of our visits. This meant that we could share dishes as a family, whilst also tailoring our individual preferences. We ended up ordering far too much food as it all sounded so delicious! We would highly recommend the meatballs, the tortilla, the paella, the rabbit and white beans, and the crispy squid, but we would also encourage visitors to try new dishes (there is no shortage of choice).
We finished the meals with hot chocolate and coffees. The carrot cake and flapjacks had unique tastes, but were much enjoyed by our children. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area, or driving through on the way home. The food was authentic and filling, and the deli certainly deserves a visit on the way out, as it stocks a huge range of cheeses, hams, bread, wine...the list goes on!
