Cant put it better than that. Everything about this place is amazing. Booked to go back for New year for 5 days. It's a very nice place to go to relax and unwind with a few friends. There's a golf course on site and even though none of us could play, we still had the chance to play 9 holes and have some fun.

A lovely welcome from the owners when we arrived early which was no problem. A fab welcome set of teas, coffees, hot chocs and bara brith was the start of a very relaxing holiday
From a luxurious bedroom with rolled top bath to a well equipped kitchen lounge area, with a fabulous bathroom including an amazing shower. All this was topped off by a really warm hottub that helped us relax watching the stars. U can stay in it all night without the bubbles as it has its own light show in the water. You just don't want to get out. The area is very quiet as it is on a golf course, near to shops and restaurants in Narberth. Handy for whole of west Wales. I recommend Pembroke Castle and Kilgetty fish bar has the biggest tastiest cod you will find anywhere at a resonable price. Definitely will be back soon. I can't praise this highly enough.

A new lodge with a 5 star bathroom, good kitchen appliances, well screened hot tub and a great location.
St Davids was the farthest we went - 45 mins.Excellent quite whit sand beaches. A really relaxing holiday. Town was 5 minutes drive away with a good choose of eateries and takeaways.

We stayed at Herons Brook Lodges for a week in July in Hornbeam Lodge No 1.
Upon arrival we were allowed into our lodge early by the most helpful owners.
A most welcoming tray with tea coffee & cake awaited us in our lodge.
The lodge itself was superb and still felt new. It had everything you could think of provided including dishwasher tabs, powder for the washing machine and quality soap at each basin.
The large living area had a huge TV and DVD player (very handy for a wet welsh day!!) Also in the cupboards were DVD's books and games if the weather is unkind.
The living area is a very decent size and both bedrooms are roomy the main one having en suite.
The hot tub was lovely and just the thing after a days walking.
The grounds of the site are wonderfully kept as well, and the owners live on site should you have any problems.
If you require shopping we found a large Tesco extra in Haverfordwest approx. 10 miles from the site, there is a Spar and Costcutter in Narberth if you don't want the drive.
For days out Tenby is lovely and car parking is not too bad at £3 per day in the south beach car park or possibly less in the multi story in the town centre.
Another great day out is Saundersfoot which is a little sea front harbour town a few miles from Tenby, with lots of lovely small shops. It also has some nice coast walks including one through old railway tunnels to Wisemans Bridge. If you like walking it is possible to park at Wisemans Bridge Inn (a small seafront village) for FREE and walk round to Saundersfoot.
Oakwood's Theme park is ok, but I would suggest buying tickets with Tesco Clubcard vouchers otherwise it's very expensive and the park now has fastpass tickets which lead to some very long waits in the afternoon.
I cannot recommend Herons Brook strongly enough, it is the best site we have every stayed at and would be perfect if you want to just chill out for a week.

The weather was brilliant while we were here, so that gives anywhere an advantage, but I cannot fault this place. We had a friendly greeting from the site managers when we arrived, we were shown our cabin and how to work the hot tub, and then they left us alone until we departed. They were on call 24X7 if we had any problems; the only one we had was the sun-umbrella for the cabin’s terrace was missing. Five minutes after our call, one was delivered. The cabins are very comfortable; the kitchen has every possible piece of equipment you could want, oven, cooker, microwave, freezer, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, etc. There is a BBQ outside. The TV works, there is an I-pod dock, and a DVD player. Books, board games, and DVDs are stored in one of the cupboards. All cabins have plenty of parking right outside, and are mostly quite secluded. The hot tub is a bonus. There is also a large friendly ginger cat that owns the place, and comes round to check you out every morning, providing him with breakfast is most acceptable.

The grounds are very attractive and there are a few walking trails, it is very peaceful; often the only sounds that could be heard were birds and insects. Mechanical noise is limited to the "rush" hour, and the greens mowing. There is a golf course, I don’t play; but the green fees looked reasonable.

Checking out is so simple, you just put your rubbish in a skip, hand over the keys and you are away.

Narberth is about a mile away, uphill mostly; but has plenty of parking restaurants, and shops, and the location is ideally suited for touring South-West Wales.

Room Tip: The lodges nearest the entrance are closest to the golf course. That may or may not be a good thing...
