“Perfect overnight retreat.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 July 2013

Our stay at the Bothy was just one night but we wished we'd had an excuse to stay longer. Janice, Mark and Abby gave us a lovely warm welcome, I knew then that this was going to be the perfect place to stay. The Bothy was spacious and very comfortable, my husband and I slept like logs in the gorgeous bed. We had our breakfast on the patio in the morning, which was delicious. As my husband then nodded off, Janice said there was no rush to leave, so we actually left at midday.

We had an absolutely wonderful overnight stay, it was wonderful, the beautiful location, we loved the fact that you were in a wee property on your own and most of all, the friendly, relaxed atmosphere made it the perfect retreat. We will definitely be having a break there again.

Room Tip: This is a property set away from the main house and is in a delightful location, perfect in every wa...

This place is fabulous. We were delighted with it. Unlike most B&B's, it is far more than just a comfortable, beautiful bedroom. There is a lounge/kitchen area, with cooking facilities and a proper sized TV! All in its own seperate building, so you are essentially staying in little house of your own. The entire place is delicately decorated with a modern feel that is also homely and comforting. Cake & flapjacks, plus milk and orange juice in the fridge were there on arrival. Scrummy - Mark's flapjacks are to die for and I am eternally grateful to him for emailing me the recipe about ten minutes after we left. Breakfast is delivered to the door at whatever time you request it and what a gorgeous breakfast it was too. Perfect quantity and quality. On finding the decaffinated tea in the cupboard (as well as coffee) I was thrilled - so many places don't have decaf! This place is excellent and we will certainly stay there again when we get the chance. Will be recommending to all friends/family/strangers on the street...

Fantastic! I was welcomed on the driveway....shown to what can only be described as a small cottage. It was warm, spacious and comfortable. I had an appointment the next morning and they were good enough to drive me there.
Superb

We stayed for 8 nights over half term visiting friends and various sights in the area and were delighted to find this lovely property. Located just off the A3 it was so convenient for Haslemere, Liphook, Guildford and Grayshott. It is also close to great walking areas - Devils Punchbowl and Waggoners Wells are just 5 minutes away - and lots more nearby too. The hosts were so welcoming and took great care to ensure we were comfortable and warm - especially as it was very cold. Excellent value and very well appointed. Definitely recommended for any season.

Our trip was a vacation combined with family and friends. Although we basically knew what to expect, our Bothy experience was even better. The cottage was roomy, comfortable, modern, warm, and well furnished, complete with full kitchen. We had the beauty and quiet of the country and access to news or entertainment on the big (but discrete) telly. Mark and Janice provided care, suggestions on nearby amenities, good breakfast, and plenty of privacy. We travel to the UK every year, and hope to stay there again. A great place to get away.

Room Tip: this is a one-cottage bed and breakfast

Stayed with a friend in this wonderful little gem of a B and B. I enjoyed the large layout and cosy set up. Being detached from Main house makes it seem particularly private and the breakfast Is delicious.
I was a little cold but I was one of the first guests apparently, so l expect that has now been rectified. The hosts seem very willing to accommodate their guests needs. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone passing through.

Stayed for 1 night to attend a party nearby. Accomodation exceeded any expectations – great to have a bedroom & separate kitchen area/lounge. Comfortable, spacious, clean, tasteful decor, friendly and attentive owners, and great value for money – hard to think of how it could be improved. Would recommend to anyone without hesitation…so much better than a soulless hotel alternative. Thank you for having us!
