Upon arriving, two staff ran to our car to give us a hand with our luggage !
Wow ! Now that's a good first impression.
Check in was smooth.
The room was spacious and clean.
A little scent of oldness... but what can you do ? We are not in Tokyo.
The food was magnificent !
We really enjoyed our dinner and breakfast.
The hotel is situated conveniently but renting a car would be my recommendation.

Distant from the city of Nase though, you can use a rental cars available upon request. Close to the airport. Nice and tasty foods in the evening. The rainy season has already begun under the cloudy weather with some rain you can feel the nature of island.

We travel a lot.
And it's been a while since upon our arrival at the hotel car park that not one but two staff ran towards our rented car to help us with our luggage !
What a great start !
Check in was smooth.
Shown to our room.
Nice and clean, however a little smelly.
Dinner at their Adan restaurant was great !
Local dishes from Amami and the staff was full of conversation.
Breakfast likewise.
There really isn't much around shop wise
so renting a car would be recommended.
I really loved the hotel.
I just couldn't give five stars due to the smell in the room.
If only there could be something done about it
the hotel would thrive even more !

We stayed here for 3 nights and upon arrival we were impressed by the view of sea from the lobby. Actually the hotel itself is perched by the edge of a hill so most areas in the hotel have the full view of the water. The sea was a bit rough on this side of the island and the beach was not clean. The hotel is clean and had the basic amenities you would ask for a few nights stay. But the beds, my goodness, badly need an upgrade! For a 5 star hotel price, sadly I think they only manage to bring 3 stars. The "spa" where we had our massage was more like a athlete's locker room, with about 5 massage beds next to each other in room and there was no ambiance at all. It was quite disappointing and very expensive. We went to a nicer beach called Kurasaki Beach about a 20 minute drive from Thida Moon and l and wish we stayed in a hotel in this area instead! The staff barely speaks English and the hotel food in restaurant was not that great either.

Room Tip: Ocean view rooms are great but be prepared to spend more! And bring a japanese phrasebook!
