This was as good as, if not better than any sushi I've ever had, in the US or Japan. The proprietor, who is renowned in Japan, is friendly and warm, as are the remaining chefs. The sushi was fresh and expertly prepared. This is a special experience, well worth a trip to Shiogama--which is an interesting place on its own. Don't miss the wholesale fish market.
