“Good hotel for visit”
Reviewed 24 July 2014

The hotel is very good and caters for all sorts of travellers. Business people whom need only a bed can get a small room, we got a slightly larger room which was good. There is a suite if you have the money. Breakfast not included but there are good options within the building, Starbucks across the road. Plenty of restaurant options around hotel. So overall a very good hotel if you need to be in esaka. Will stay again.

Room Tip: The small double is designed for business people. If you are traveling you may want to opt for the b...

This centrally located hotel in Osaka is on the 1st Floor (2nd , if you happen to be American or Japanese) of a large shopping mall called "Tokyu Hands", right opposite the subway station.
We walked between the mall shops and stores, weaving through shoppers, and took an escalator to the forst floor lobby. Our bags were brought up to our rooms with the usual promptitude that we found in most Tokyu Hotels.
The room was not big, but was adequate. It had all the expected fittings: flat screen TV, hot water kettle, tea & coffee service, the usual toiletries, and, of course, the high tech toilet.
The road outside the hotel was lined with shops and commercial establishments including slot machine places, convenience stores and restaurants. We dined at an Okonomiyaki restaurant- a first for me- right next to the hotel, hidden away on the first floor of the adjacent building above a drug store.
The pavements outside the hotel were a little narrow, not permitting easy walking, specially around crowded intersections, where a lot of young people were hanging out.
The hotel is adequate for what it provides, but the buffet breakfast was short of the usual Tokyu standards: no fresh fruit,no cereal, no hot milk.
I'd probably not stay here again.

Great hotel- clean, quiet, very comfortable beds. location appears inconvenient as it is not so close to the war memorial etc, however, the tram stop is just outside the hotel and it takes you straight there in abut 5 stops. if you book in advance you can get a very cheap price. we paid $AUD 60 per night.

Location wise - it's right across the Esaka Subway station so getting around is convenient. There's Tokyu hands, Uniqlo, Mcdonalds and other food places within the area.
Service - we ran out of cash and badly needed help finding money exchange services that accepts our currency. The staff went above and beyond the call of duty by calling different banks and currency exchange services.
Room - compared to the hotels in Tokyo, our room was bigger. Despite all the luggages we have, there's floor space to walk around.
We will definitely try other Tokyu Inns when we return to Japan.

Room was small but ok, nice extra the massage chair. Very close to subway and lots of restaurants in the area. They serve both Japanese and western breakfast and if you get tired there is a Starbucks just in front of the hotel.

Room Tip: choose room on a higher floor to get away from the subway noise in case you want to open the window

It is two station away from shin Osaka but it is about two min walk from esaka subway station...

Staff was ok.. Average....

Room was small and clean...

The area was not bad had some good udon nearby

For the price could have chose a better hotel... Staff attitude could get some improvement

It is very close to uniqlo and Tokyu hands which sold some cute little items...

Don't think will stay in this particular hotel again...

The check out time was better than most hotels as it was at 11 instead of 10 at most hotels
