At The Manor

I am so glad that we were unable to get accommodation in Bath - this property is a gem and its owners, Sarah and Simon, are two in a million.
Bath at Christmastime was pandemonium - fun but frenzied, and the Manor was the perfect escape - so elegant yet relaxed. It's not far at all from the city, but just long enough that you get to enjoy a short drive through beautiful countryside, and to unwind in a tranquil village with great walks.
Generous, thoughtfully prepared breakfasts, gorgeous toiletries, the most comfortable bed of our whole trip, tasteful decorating, a picture postcard setting and hosts who seem to genuinely care that you enjoy every moment of your stay - I must sound like I'm gushing but I can't recommend it enough - do yourself a favour and make this your preference when wanting to enjoy Bath and surrounds.

Room Tip: I don't think you could go wrong - we had an attic room and it was large, plush and perfectly ap...

Or family of 9 spent a long weekend there recently and we loved our stay in the Manor. The owners had been in touch several times prior to our stay to make sure everything was in order and the place was spotless and ready upon our arrival.
There is a very large dining table in the living area and a great little kitchen. We had planned a few evening trips into Bath to eat but having had such a relaxed meal in the manor on our first night we ended up staying in a lot more to cook and relax in the evening playing games and the like. We all liked our rooms and had comfortable nights on the good beds provided. I bagged the master room with a four poster bed which has a massive bathroom and a excellent downpour shower. We got used to the lay out of the upstairs which has two rooms on the second floor and a further 3 roomed flat on the third floor.
There are lots of nice touches like games and ipod docks in the living area, good equipment in the kitchen, nice toiletries in the bathrooms and guides for local walks.
The location is good being about 15 - 20 minutes away from Bath so you get the best of staying in the country while having Bath close by.
The Manor more then met our expectations and the owners are very friendly and more than willing to help with anything or offer advice if needed.

What an absolutely amazing find! I am so happy to have found the manor house for my friend's hen do. 10 of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The local area is beautiful as is the house itself. Perfect, huge dining and lounge area for dinner parties and an amazing old pub with the most outstanding view and beer garden (The George Inn) a mere 2 minutes walk away. And Bath itself is only 15 mins drive away! Sarah was wonderful - so helpful and even left us lovely little touches to enjoy. Thank you for the pink fizz and chocies! Do not hesitate to book this beautiful gem of a house!

Just got back from my hen weekend and it was amazing. Beautiful location, amazing rooms and the bed was super comfy (as hen I got the four poster bed in Lyde Green!). There was a huge box of chocolates and two bottles of bubbles for us which were demolished on the first night! It was just short bus/taxi ride from centre of Bath for our expeditions to the Thermae Spa and Opium cocktail bar. Perfect weekend!

Manor Farm House is a magnificent property steeped in history situated in a beautiful village of Norton St Philip.
10 of us stayed there for a hen weekend accomodating all of the rooms and Sarah and Simon were the most amazing hosts. We were warmly welcomed and the 2 bottles of bubbly and box of chocolates were gratefully received.
The property was very well equipped and exceeded all of our expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there then finishing off the perfect weekend with a delicious home cooked full english breakfast courtesy of Tom.
Highly recommended!

Have stayed here twice now and plan to return. Both Sarah and Simon make you most welcome, the rooms are lovely (and good quality bed linen) and a really nice guest sitting room for you to relax in if the weather is horrible and they do a truly fantastic English Breakfast. Lots to do in the area and a great pub within walking distance.
