“Great place for a relaxed get away.”
Reviewed 19 December 2009

The farm house has a lovely relaxed and informal feel about it, we particularly liked the comfortable lounge with a big TV and squishy chairs. Our room was spacious, clean and nicely furnished with a great ensuite bathroom with both a large shower and bath in it. Sarah was very hospitable and happy to cater for individual requests at breakfast time and found time to advise us on local places of interest.
The food was very nice and there was plenty of juice and coffee in the morning, which you could help yourself to. The hospitality tray in our room was always well stocked with tea, coffee and chocolate and had really lovely biscuits.
It would have been useful to have had a small fridge in the room otherwise we couldn't find any fault with the accommodation and would thoroughly recommend it as it's definitely one of the nicest places we've stayed at.

A group of our friends and my then fiance stayed at the Manor for the weekend of our wedding, Saturday to Tuesday (wedding was the Bank holiday Monday). Everyone commented on how lovely the B&B was, great rooms, breakfast, location and fantastic service! Sarah was so helpful and a great hostess.

The village is charming with some lovely pubs, particularly the George, where we had a fab meal for around 20 of us! A great start to our weekend, and having everyone so happy whilst staying at the Manor made the whole wedding weekend even better!

Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay 'At The Manor'. It is ideally located for trips to Longleat. The service and food was excellent and we were made to feel very welcome. The room was clean and light and the bed was enormous :)

A suprise trip organised by my girlfriend and what a fantastic surprise, the accommodation, owners and food was first class. The village was lovely, with some great eating places.

Back to the accommodation, being an old manor house, it has been lovely restored and the room we stayed it was lovely, with a great view to wake up to.

The owners where extremely accomodating and the breakfast was lovely.

We will be definately stopping here again, a hidden gem.

We stayed for 2 nights and loved every minute. The whole experience was great, from the moment we left home - a call to check what time we might arrive to ensure someone was there to greet us - to us leaving 2 days later. The room was lovely, with a very comfy large bed. The breakfast was cooked to order and nothing was too much trouble. We couldn't recommend it highly enough and hope to return soon.

I have to be honest & say this is the best experience I have ever had in a B & B. The welcome, the rooms, the food, the help & recommendations given by the Neale family were all above & beyond! This is a great base for visiting Bath, Longleat, Cheddar Gorge & the surrounding areas. Beautiful countryside & great pubs. I would highly recommend Manor Farm & the Neale Family for anyone wishing to visit this part of the UK.

I would recommend staying 'At The Manor' to anyone, it's in a delightful village just south of Bath. I have nothing negative to say about the place and hope to visit again soon!
