I booked this for a birthday weekend. It was exactly what we were looking for and would visit again.

“Idealic cottage set in beautiful Somerset countryside”

I booked the cottage for a 4 night trip with my wife and 14 year old niece.
On arrival we were greeted warmly by Lucy (rental owner along with her husband, Simon). Lucy had baked a delicious Apple and cinnamon cake which we thoroughly enjoyed.

The cottage is beautifully arranged with a mix of old and new fashion decour which worked very well together.

The kitchen is very well equipped with all the mod cons, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine etc. It looks like the kitchen has been newly fitted.

There were plenty of board games, new and old available. My niece particularly enjoyed the traditional "pick up sticks" game. We also had good wifi.

The cottage is ideally located in a quiet village, just a short 15 minutes drive to Bath. We also visited Chedder gorge, Stonehenge and Longleat Safari park which were all within easy reach by car.

I would recommend the local pub (The Ring O'Bells) which was only a 10 minute walk from the cottage. They serve local food and have a good selection of Ales.

I would definately return to this cottage and recommend it to friends and family.
