Martin welcomes you on arrival, carries bags to your room and then supplies you with tea and cake while he gives you details of places to eat etc. Huge comfy king size bed, bath robes, slippers plus lovely bathroom toiletries. Breakfast was fabulous each morning. Cooked breakfast first day then yummy smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on a muffin on the 2nd morning. Plus cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit salad. Nothing is too much trouble for Martin - an excellent host. Would certainly stay there again. Just wish we could have stayed longer!!!! We also took home some of Martins home made marmalade.
Just a short 10 minute walk into Wroxham where there were shops, pubs plus boat trips on the Broads.

Room Tip: King size bed in front room. Just don't open the window as you can hear the traffic on the busy...

Sue, thanks for taking the trouble to write a review it's much appreciated and I'm pleased you enjoyed your stay. As for the comment about the road - all B&Bs in Wroxham have rooms on the road side and as the Gateway to the Broads most traffic passes through at some stage that's why we're so lucky with out great location. We're better off than the other B&Bs though in that we lay back further than the rest and have never had a negative comment made about it, in fact many of our returning guests love this room and ask for it every time - see other comments in "room tips". All our rooms have now been upgraded with double glazed windows and blackout blinds, and for hot summer nights we supply fans.

Thanks for your lovely review, you were such fun all of you, and I'm really pleased your mum is coming back later in the year. Sorry you thought our location slightly less than perfect, but 500 yards to the village and water aren't bad are they?!!

Room clean and warm comfortable bed and excellent breakfast. What more could you wish for. Just wish we could have stayed longer. Cant wait to go back.

We stayed here in January 2014 when visiting family. I must say that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Martin, the owner, would do almost anything to make your stay as wonderful as possible (apart from getting some black pudding for breakfast ... *joke*).

Location is good, only a short easy walk to the centre of things.

Value is OK, although Martin informed us that we should've called him directly to get a cheaper rate.

Breakfast was good.

The room was warm, quiet, spacious...just what was required.

We took home a walnut and ginger cake and some marmalade, which I must say were fantastic.

Room Tip: Call the B&B directly for a cheaper rate

Thanks for taking the time and trouble to write us a review, seems ages since you were here! Really pleased you enjoyed your stay but a little disappointed perhaps at a couple of the scores. However, you enjoyed it, that's the main thing - as well as the Norfolk Ginger Cake - we just can't seem to make enough of it at the moment!!

We booked in here for one night at short notice. We were not disappointed! Martyn made us most welcome with a cup of tea and slice of home-baked cake. As other reviewers have said, it is the attention to detail that really makes a difference and sets this place above others - having a friendly host who shows you to your room and explains 'the little things' like how the shower works. wifi, etc. He provided extensive helpful information on local amenities/eateries and ensured we got a table at a local restaurant rather than leaving us to sort it out by ourselves - this meant we really got the most out of our short stay in Wroxham. Rooms are lovely and really clean. Breakfast was great too - plenty of choice. We would definately recommend this lovely B&B and we will certainly be back again at some point in the future.

Martin your genial host welcomed us with a pot of tea and a brief introduction on where to go, eat and drink. The bedroom comes with a comfortable king size bed and a super size duvet. It worked extremely well for me and is one of those touches that make The Coach House memorable. The en-suite had a bath and shower facility and to note was exceptionally clean. The following morning there was plenty on offer for breakfast with a full range of cereals, nuts, seeds and juices. The cooked English breakfast (sourced from local produce) was not only well presented but demonstrated once again the thought Martin places behind the running of the Coach House. Finding a Hotel with such attention to detail is rare. Quality and standards place the Coach House in a unique position. Heartily recommended.
