“Superb...again!”
Reviewed 27 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

We had another fabulous week here with our extended family, ages ranging from 1-69. Such a lovely comfortable house to stay in and a great boat to hire which is also great value. Its nice to see that the house prices aren't too inflated for the holiday periods. The decking area is secure enough to let toddlers roam free and the welcome pack a nice touch. Only points I could mention to be extremely picky is that it would be nice for there to be a high chair so we didn't have to pack one, some drawers in the downstairs twin room would be handy, larger towels to complete the luxurious theme throughout the house, and a blind in the twin room upstairs as we had to hang a towel there to stop the sunlight coming through in the early hours. I didn't give bedding a 5 star as the main bedroom whilst wonderfully large could be a little softer but this is just personal preference. There was no life jacket to fit our 1 year old but we had brought our own along anyway. These are minor things and I would highly recommend this wonderful house which is in a very convenient location for wroxham shops (2 mins walk). Kevin the property manager is always available to help you should you need it. Bewilderwood is a great day out for the kids (and big kids!) and its only 3 mins drive away. Wroxham Barns is also a nice day out and again only 5 mins away. We hope to return a third time next year.

“A truly lovely property”
Reviewed 25 July 2013 for a stay in June 2013

We travelled with our daughter and son-in-law and two very small grandchildren (3 and 1) and the house was spacious and beautifully furnished. It was made extra special by being right on the Broads and we opted for having the use of the boat which the children, in particular, thought was lovely. The town is just a short walk away with plenty of shops to satisfy most needs. The house has a large decked area to the rear which was safe for the grandchildren and they loved feeding the various ducks and geese that came to visit them. Kevin, the house manager, was very welcoming and spent time showing us around and making sure we knew how everything worked. Because of the children, we needed to prepare our own meals and we did find the equipment in the kitchen a little limited but everywhere else was well furnished and equipped. Good reliable Wi-Fi with internet access was available. Unfortunately the weather was not very kind to us but we had a lovely relaxing week enjoying the house and exploring the area by boat and car. We loved the area, we loved the house, so I am sure we will be back in the future.

“Perfect for large family”
Reviewed 9 April 2013 for a stay in April 2013

We stayed at River's End with our grown up children and baby grandson, 8 of us in total. Unlike many places it was properly kitted out for 8 people in 4 very comfortable bedrooms with 2 excellent bathroom and a cloakroom. It is a simple and easy house to stay in, carpeted throughout and with 2 good tellies. Outside there are 2 lawns and sensibly dogs are not allowed on one of them which is reassuring when you have young children. The lawns are surrounded by a low fence which is a good safety feature and keeps most of the birds off which keeps them cleaner. There is also a very generous deck which is securely fenced off and reassuringly safe for children. We opted to rent the day boat for the week, its roomy and simple and great to have by the garden for whenever you want it, good value too. There's a welcome pack waiting for you and a great supermarket 5 minutes walk away so don't bother taking anything. River's End is at the end of a waterway cul de sac so quite quiet in high season I imagine.

“What a lovely place to stay”
Reviewed 27 February 2013 for a stay in February 2013

Cannot fault this holiday home at all. Having the boat with the house really made the holiday and enabled us to really appreciate the broads and the wild life. (The riverside pubs as well!)
It was really lovely to be greated with a welcome hamper and milk in the fridge.
We found the ground floor bedrooms a real bonus as one of our party was disabled.
