Yet another Vintage Inns restaurant.
As usual, the building and decor are very 'olde worlde' and relaxing. Service was good.
I've never noticed this on their menus before - you can't get 'tea for two' in a large pot - they will only serve two individual pots which, of course, costs more.
Tip - if you just want tea for two, drive ten minutes up the M65 to J7 and go the the Dunkenhalgh Hotel. Tea for two in much more palatial surroundings is £1 cheaper!
