Wanted a couple of days break near the coast or within a short drive of the coast. This hotel came up in the £29 deal.

Was near enough for a couple of days travel to Blackpool.

The food next door was of usual standard and cheap too or there are plenty of other places within walking distance to obtain food.

Hotel the usual premier inn standard and friendly staff both days.

Good hotel but rubbish pub (the poachers inn) got a bit fed up with the short measured drinks, under filled pints and not letting the full optic shot into the glass, felt cheated there although the no complaints with the hotel there is a better pup across the road though

We spent a night here on our way up to Cumbria. We took the opportunity of sightseeing in Preston before retiring for the night and looked for a Premier Inn in the vicinity. It is a comfort to know what you are always going to get.
We were additionally lucky to be able to take advantage of their £29 special deal. We feel the beds could be softer, our personal choice and lower, also the lighting could be better. However, you cannot fault the cleanliness or size of the room and consistent helpfulness and friendly staff which is why we always look for a Premier Inn on most occasions unless we push the boat out and stay in a higher class hotel. Would be nice if they expanded more in Europe! The only inconsistency is the food chain that they are attached to.
On this occasion, it was undoubtedly cheap and plentiful but we would prefer a higher quality which Brewers Fayre or Harvesters for instance provide.
