I'm Turkish and have stayed at Manastir twice, lastly in September 2012. It is the most majestic hotel in Alacati and one of the most enchanting hotels in the country. The peace and quite that can be found in this hotel (built over the ruins of an old orthodox monastery) is in my opinion unparallelled in the town. The handsome pool almost entirely occupies the hotel's courtyard and you could literally spend days by its side doing nothing. The breakfast is one of the highlights of the hotel and so is the service which is how it should be, tailored to every customer's needs. I've stayed in both the standard rooms and the suites simply have an extra room with an extra double bed. So it's more space as opposed to anything else. The hotel is walking distance to Alacati's "historic centre" and all the restaurants, shops and bars. The beaches are 3km away and very easily accessible from the hotel.
