Cozy, homelike and beautiful place. The owner is so very friendly lady. We enjoyed a lot the tea times in the afternoon by the pool. One night as we didn't want to go out, her staff prepared us home made local dishes that was delicious. We think Alaçatı is more beautiful in September than in July, It was our second trip to there and we are so happy to choose the same place. It is a kind of home to us.

Room Tip: the rooms viewing the pool are our favorites.

We spent five nights at Sedirli Ev and wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. Zeynep, the owner, has arranged both the house and garden beautifully. The rooms are good and the breakfast amazing. But hospitality and kindness are the standout features. One of us wasn't well and Zeynep really went several extra miles to look after her, including getting an x-ray at the local clinic and preparing special food. Nothing was too much trouble and we had a great stay in Alicati.
Practicalities. Ephesus is an easy 90 min drive; the dolmus to Cesme and local beaches are easy and fairly frequent; Zeynep has fluent English and lots of contacts and recommendations.

My husband and I stayed at Sedirli Ev for a few days in September. We are both well traveled and very particular about accomodations (picky New Yorkers) so I do not say this lightly: It was the best part of our trip to Turkey. The room was comfortable and clean and the overall charm of Sedirli and Zeynep (the owner) and her staff cannot be denied. The breakfasts that were prepared for us were delicious, the pool and lounge area was gorgeous and Zeynep's restaurant and beach recommendations were always on point. Though Sedirli Ev is not on Alacati's main strip it is really easy to get to from the main strip and away from the noise and perpetual activity of the strip. You will not regret booking at Sedirli Ev!

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the pool. It's pretty to look at, day or night.

I have spent 3 nights in Sedirli ev in August and I realy felt like I was at home
Very nice, very clean and so friendly , the owner Zeynep is a very nice person with her friendly staff. We have started the day with delicious breakfast served by the pool in their green garden.
Then the whole day we were at the beautiful beaches of Alacati , we could not dare to miss tasty tea and homemade cookies/cakes so we come back by 6 pm each day and enjoyed 5 o'clock tea...swam in the pool as well, then at night after coming back from dining, it is also so tranquilizing sitting in the garden on green grass and having a cup of Turkish coffee accompanied with Turkish Sweet....
I definetely recommend you to stay in Sedirli Ev in Alacati İzmir....

Room Tip: Rooms opening to garden and the pool can be a good choice

This place is awesome. It's beautiful, the food is delicious, the staff is helpful, friendly, kind and fun. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and pretty. My friend came a day before I did and Zeynep made him feel right at home, made him dinner, and showed him the town and occupied him all day with some fun adventures. She is excellent company and a very special person. The breakfast is delicious and tea, coffee, and homemade limoncello are served at the pool. This place is awesome- I definitely recommend and would go back. If you are looking for a relaxing get away in a quiet town, this is your place.
