Wonderfull location, wonderfull host. We enjoyed the stay, the breakfast, the garden and the pool. It was not like a hotel, like home actually. Nice rooms, enough space. We definetely come back again.

As Alaçatı Çeşme is offering more and more with sea, sun, surf, design, fine dining and other elements of sophistication, Sedirli Ev balances all by offering "peace of mind". You will find out in time that your favourite hours were your wake ups in the morning (with the excitement of a tasty, fresh breakfast) and your afternoon entries to the hotel (as you come back from the beaches to your retreat!). The home made jams, freshly baked afternoon cakes, a refreshing dip into the pool, the very comfortable set up both indoor and outdoor and smiling faces are simply the reasons.. They have a healing effect :) Also the location which offers both a nice walking distance to the lovely pedestrian streets of the new and elegant "Hacımemiş" area, and a quiet sleep due to that very same distance is worth mentioning. The very same is true on Saturdays if you want to visit the local street market, for fresh produce, clothing and ornaments... Still at times, we ended up staying long hours inside the courtyard, even at prime times of Çeşme... The overall positivism of Sedirli Ev is embedded in its looks and its people. It really is about "inner beauty" for those who are open to experience it. It is grounded, elegant and real...

Zeynep is such a kind and wonderful host, which is definitely part of the charm of Sedirli Ev. The place is itself is an oasis, with beautifully decorated rooms in a home that was thoughtfully furnished. We made use of the pool, which was relaxing and had to unzip our pants after the amazing, organic breakfast. Looking forward to the next stop here before any travel in Turkey for calm and relaxation.

Just recently returned from our third stay at Sedirli Ev since 2009. This year, we just couldn´t think of a better place to charge our batteries. Having spent 3 weeks there in july, we came back relaxed, happy and yet again with good memories.

Zeynep is still the best hostess there is, making sure you have everything you need at any time.
The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast are tasty with homemade jams and spices. The dinners (if you order, She´ll cook for you) are fantastic - and worth a shot if you want to relax at home.

This time, I thought I´d broke my toe when windsurfing. Zeynep took action immediately to provide me with a crutch, and offered to join us when going to the doctor. She´s simply there for you - at any time. The service & atmosphere is unique. It´s the Sedirli Ev magic.

I would recommend a stay here - especially if you prefer small hotels / B&B´s. Even when the hotel is fully booked, it never gets busy or crowded.

Enjoy Sedirli Ev!

My husband and I stayed at Sedirli Ev for one week in July. From the moment we arrived, I knew we had chosen well and had entered a sanctuary of relaxation...

Zeynep is the owner of this wonderful property has tastefully created an oasis of calm and serenity and really welcomes you into her home. We had a beautiful (& large) room on the 1st floor overlooking the amazing pool and garden. Having worked very hard up to our holiday, it offered the perfect remedy to de-stress.

The house & rooms are spotlessly clean with serviced each day. The wonderful staff who work there were so nice and nothing is too much trouble. Each day we were greeted by a wonderful breakfast; a myriad of cheeses, bread, jams and preserves with lovely fruit and vegetables at the poolside.
We also looked forward to our homemade afternoon tea each day by the pool...

On the 4th July, Zeynep invited us to her anniversary party and her birthday. We shared drinks and food with her friends and family and got to talk to other guests. It was a lovely night!

Alacati is a wonderful town - about 7-8 minutes walk from Sedirli Ev which has an amazing range of restaurants, lovely bars and outdoor cafés. Its not overrun by European tourists and welcomes mostly Turkish holidaymakers. There is not an English/Irish bar in sight and it is, what I would call a sophisticated part of Turkey. English speakers were hard to come by so I would swat up on some decent phrases for getting by. The day we arrived and on every Saturday there is a wonderful bazaar held 2 minutes walk from he house..

Zeynep is very knowledgeable of the area and even dropped us to the beautiful beach in Ilica one day. again another amazing part of the holiday - like something out of the Caribbean.

If returning which we will - we would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family...

Thanks Zeynep....

My friend and I stayed at Sedirli Ev 4 nights in July 2013 as part of a 3-week Holiday. We stayed in the pool view room on the second floor.

Staying at Sedirli Ev is like staying at the home of your wealthy relative from Turkey – you feel like family in this beautiful home, while Zeynep (owner and host) and her staff treat you like an honored guest with class and style. For me, hospitality is the key point-of-difference between Sedirli Ev and dozens of hotels I’ve stayed-in; the service is first class.

Each day breakfast included an enormous variety of homemade jams, fruit, breads, grains, cheese and more items than I can remember. And, hot coffee was always ready for the two Americans. All served to my table.

Tea service quickly became an afternoon favorite, and we lounged poolside in anticipation of the tasty treats.

Zeynep even invited us to her party to celebrate the B&B’s anniversary and her birthday over an intimate dinner and drinks at the pool bar. It was a great opportunity to meet other guests and locals alike.

Our room was comfortable, quite, and cool with adequate space for belongings. The bathroom was modern and spacious with a stand-up shower.

The location of Sedirli Ev is just outside the Alacati town center – a safe 5 minute walk, which we found close enough for a nice stroll after dinner, and far enough away from the noise.

Zeynep guided us from the very beginning of our journey with recommendations on transportation from the airport. Throughout our stay she was ready to provide insider suggestions on tourist sites, restaurants, and even her favorite sunset spot. And, more than once she insisted on personally transporting us to our destinations. Wow.

I’m not sure If I’ll ever have the opportunity to visit the village of Alacati again, but If I do you can bet I’ll be staying at Sedirli Ev.

My wife and I had a very nice stay for 5 nights at Sedirli Ev. Tidy, comfy property close to the Aegean in the small resort town of Alacati, about a 45 minute drive from Izmir airport.
Pros: purpose built small boutique hotel with 7 rooms. Very attentive service with great attention to detail. The owner Zeynep is very outgoing and speaks good english (and french) and goes out of her way to make your stay enjoyable, including recommending activities and places to eat and shop. The courtyard is lovely with a nice sized pool and comfortable chairs for lounging in the sun. Internet service is very good as well. Rooms are clean, spacious and very well decorated. Alacati and Cesme are very nice and picturesque and there are lots of shops and restaurants, as well as beaches in the area. There is a massive market/bazaar right beside the hotel held on Saturdays where you can buy just about anything and we had a great time wandering around and negotiating with the sellers.
Cons: Not a great location, as it is close to the highway (we could here the trucks going by from our room with the window open) and you really need a car to get just about anywhere. The main tourist area in Alacati is about a 15 minute walk away, which is fine, but it is a bit unnerving at night coming back as the lighting is poor in the area and there are stray dogs everywhere. I found it a bit pricey as well relative to other offerings, and a number of things are "extras" such as orange juice with breakfast.
