July 2013 we came to Bey Evi. I did not write a review because I was blown away & didn't want the world to find this place, selfish I know but we returned July 2104.
Coming back was odd like we never left; friends joined us from Bodrum boat trip. X4 kids in all, loved the pool (being respectively quiet). Celal has a new wood fired expert chef serving amazing Turkish Pizza. Bey Evi is a quiet oasis that steps onto the Main Street with lovely, cool, relaxed people. Nothing is a stress. We have been hanging at Bey Evi with Celal and some new staff additions, sampling great wine, great service and chatting with an international crowd; it seems word has spread around the world, but not at a worrying rate. Bey Evi still feels like it's just a few others and us who have found this secret place, I love it. Summary: quiet, hypnotic, amazing food market, wood fired oven, superb wine, beautiful beaches, welcoming people, the best service I have had from any hotel in the world. Everything is organised in a chic relaxed manner by Celal, ask him and he'll point you in the right direction.

Room Tip: Speak to Celal - he will always help

There is little I can add to what's already been said about this beautiful hotel. The decor is stunning, the rooms wonderfully designed and the staff warm and friendly. Celel is a genuinely caring host who takes great care of his guests in an unobtrusive way. We've just enjoyed a 7 night stay and can honestly rate the experience as perfect. Alacati is a very pretty town with great restaurants and a beautiful beach just a pleasant walk or bus ride away (Ilica). This was our first experience of Turkey and it was fantastic, we'll definitely return.

Room Tip: Our room was at the back of the pool and very peaceful at all times of day. Perhaps avoid August as...

Myself and two friends visited in July. We arrived late at night, and were greeted by Celal and his staff, who, after we had dropped our luggage in our room, invited us to the front of the hotel to join him for a complimentary drink. The next day we enjoyed a fantastic and plentiful breakfast, which was simple and very delicious. We enjoyed a meal there in the little Italian restaurant a couple of times. The staff there are amazing and cater to your every whim. Nothing is too much trouble for them at all. We were given some wonderful recommendations for restaurants, and we were invited to visit the beach with Celal, who took us in his car and brought us back when we were ready. The BEACH is gorgeous, you could imagine it being in the Caribbean it is such an azure blue, and so clear and the sand so pale, A must see.. The Saturday market must not be missed, you will be amazed by the plants, fruits, vegetables, clothes, jewellery etc. It is absolutely huge, but has little cafe's dotted throughout if you need refreshment, also water sellers walk through. The BEST bit though was being welcomed at the Beyevi and being pampered. I can honestly say that we were made to feel like friends on a visit, and not like paying guests at all. The rooms are beautifully appointed and has all you need. There are no coffee/tea making facilities, but the staff brought us cups and hot water as we had brought some coffee sachets with us. I was amazed, truly amazed by the negative comments by a previous reviewer, as we could not fault the hotel, the setting and especially not the service we received during our stay. We would love to come back and visit again soon. Thanks to everyone there, especially Mehmet, Onur, Rajeb,Eran and the lovely girl on reception for making our stay memorable . On a seperate note. The food in Alacati is to die for, I usually struggle as I am vegetarian, but everything I had was truly delicious and very healthy wherever we ate, any the place is very safe, even if you are a lone traveller, nobody EVER hassles you, and are only ever very friendly and helpful. Pay a visit, you will not be disappointed.

Stepping into the Beyevi hotel is like entering a good friend’s home. The warmth of the welcome, the superb hospitality, the fine cuisine and most of all, the friendliness and attentiveness of Celal, his wife and the rest of his team make you feel like an honoured houseguest.

We’ve just spent two weeks at the hotel where we enjoyed one of our best ever holidays. We were thoroughly spoilt by the staff whose sense of fun was a daily joy. As well as keeping us fed and watered from dawn to dusk they organised trips to Ephesus, a local winery and to nearby beach clubs. They made all of the recommendations and bookings for local restaurants and on one occasion even walked with us to make sure we found one tucked away establishment.

Couple all of that with Alaçati’s renowned cooling wind, its beautiful setting, elegant shopping and fantastic wining and dining and you have what for us are all the essential ingredients required for a fabulous holiday.

So thank you Celal and your wife, and Mehmet, Onur, Eren and the rest of the team. It truly was a holiday we will remember always.

I have just returned home from my visit to Otel Beyevi and i am missing it allready The owner Celel and his lovely wife have a Beautiful Gem in paradise and what a pleasure it was to visit this place from the minute we arrived we were treated like friends not only by Celel but the lovely staff. Mehmet, Onur, Eren,Rajeb and the lovely young girl on reception all were just great so a big HELLO to all of them, there are a lot of staff working hard behind the scenes too so what a great job they do as well, The Hotel was spotless and every night we loved to be back for 5pm as they served beautiful cake and tea , a lovely gesture. Celel booked restaurants for us to try and advised us on where to eat so it made things easier for us as there are so many to choose from, but also have meals at the Bey evi as food is great and the red wine what can i say was just perfect. Celel took us to the beach and a tour about looking at other beaches, he left us to spend time sunning ourselves and then gave us a lift back to the hotel so thats service for you, but to Celel it was just normal to do these lovely gestures. Please anyone who is looking for amazing hotel great service, relaxation, and great food then the Bey evi is for you, I just cant fault this Hotel a full five stars from me, you can look at all the photos which is easy to see but what you cant see is the warmth and personality of this place you will have to visit it to feel it.

I travel a lot and stay in many hotels during the year. When friends invited me to stay - for pleasure - at "another hotel" at first I wasn't excited about spending my vacation that way, but the Beyevi is most certainly not "another hotel", but something very special! Excellent spot in the quiet part of the village, very nice, tasteful atmosphere and above all EXCELLENT personal service; not the kind of "because you paid we will be nice service" but spontaneous, pro-active efforts to make your stay truly enjoyable. Simple, delightful food made from fresh ingredients and an excellent collection of local wines that should be tried. Thinking about going back to visit some of the vineyards. I can only highly recommend this place!

Room Tip: talk to the owner - Celal - and discuss what you would like; they have amazing choices with unique r...
