The hotel is beautiful and spotlessly clean. The staff could not be more accommodating or friendlier. We stayed on a Saturday which was great because there is a huge weekly market which starts right outside the hotel. The complimentary breakfast was attractively presented on the outside patio and was plentiful, and delicious.
I have spent many years visiting Turkey and this is one of the nicest boutique hotels that I have stayed at.
That being said; the town of Alacati is extremely expensive compared to all the other Turkish cities and towns I have visited.

We are family of 4 with 2 kids. 1850 Hotel, is offering very homely and welcoming atmosphere. Staff was always smiling and very helpful. The breakfast was very fresh and we all enjoyed it very much. Overall our hotel was excellent and we will be back next year again.

The room is not quite big but very comfortable and clean. The balcony is wonderful for me to breathe some fresh air. Hotel decoration is nice and just like home. Although the front desk cannot speak frequent English, they still tried their best to answer all of our questions and provided useful information.

We stayed there for 2 nights. To describe our experience, my 13 year old son said just after we drove out from the junction, "I am going to miss this hotel." Physically the hotel is small but cosy and clean. But it has big hearts - we were treated courteously from the warm welcoming smile, till the final goodbye. And the breakfast spread - the best spread ever during our entire stay in Turkey. Fresh and delicious. When we were in Istanbul, my youngest 4 year old son asked, can we go back to Alacati?
Location wise: the famous Alacati Saturday market is right in front of the door step. The town centre is just a walking distance away.
Thank you Omar, Yasmeen and Abdul. Staying at 1850 is definitely part of the good moments of our Turkey trip. Highly recommended!

We stayed at this hotel recently (end of March 2014). A statement from my second son describes our experience staying at this hotel - "I missed the hotel already". Physically, it is clean, cosy and comfortable. More importantly, this hotel has big hearts - the staff: they gave us warm welcome; they entertained us politely. They make our stay a pleasant and comfortable one. Oh and of course we would not forget the breakfast spread - splendid one either in terms of quantity or quality. The best and freshest breakfast that we had during our entire Turkey visit. When we were saying goodbye, we feel like if we could, we would extend our stay. Location wise: the Saturday Alacati market is right in front the doorstep and the city centre is just a walking distance away. Even when we were already in Istanbul,my youngest son said, I like Alacati hotel. Can we go back?
Thank you Umar, Yasmeen and Abdul.

We stayed here in mid October 2013 , what a lovely little hotel, very personal, with very clean and modern rooms, the Turkish breakfast are gorgeous, it's situated within walking distance of an abundance of bars and restaurants and gift shops, this isn't your typical British holiday hotel, the staff speak broken English but they get 100% for effort in communication , on a Saturday there is a massive market right outside the hotel with your usual holiday bargains, if your looking for a hotel in alacati then this hotel will not let you down

I stayed at 1850 Hotel and it was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in for quite some time. The hotel is right next to the beautifully quaint town of Alacati and the area is surrounded by some beautiful beaches. The area is very quite but the nightlife is within walking distance so you are never too far away from the action but you have the option of residing back to the comfortably quite surroundings of the hotel.
The staff at the hotel were very warm, professional and welcoming. The traditional Turkish breakfast is delicious and big so be sure to work up an appetite.
The hotel is very well kept, the rooms are clean. I love that there are only 5 rooms and each room is themed. The garden is lusciously green with comfortable seating and a bar area. There is also a café that serves a variety of different dishes. All the food served is fresh and very tasty.
I am definitely coming back to this 1850 hotel and I would really recommend this hotel to everyone.

The first residents of today's Alacati, the Greek workers had arrived from Chios Island, the year was 1850...They built narrow stone streets and stone houses covered with mud bricks. In a hot climate people live in streets. All Mediterranean people, South Americans, Middle Easterners, Far Easterners throw chairs in front of their houses. Mornings pass in front of the gates, evenings too. Even if they go in their homes, they live upon the street. Therefore Greek houses have oriel windows. The cities built upon many civilizations and towns along thousands of years. Even the residents change in time, red evenings, sun, wind, vine leaf meeting with the earth, olive and Daphne are the permanent settlers of Aegean and Alacati.
