We had an amazing experience the moment we entered to the hotel. Mrs Sema, the owner of Sultan Konak, is very welcoming, and very successful in creating very warm environment. Breakfast also is very delicious, with different types of homemade jams. You feel like you are staying at home. Plus, it is very close to Alacati, 5-10 minutes walk. Definitely worth the price.

My fiancee and I stayed here for 2 nights and still today we regret not having spent more time there; this boutique hotel is very cozy, welcoming, fresh and unique; Sema adn Ali really make you feel like being at home, they will give you all the tips that you need to get the most of your stay in the town. Sema gave us very detailed directions of where to go in the sourrounding areas, unexpectedly we ended visiting ruins in a nearby village, eating the best artichokes-based dishes ever, driving on a hidden road to catch a breath-taking view of the sunsent at the beach, our visit to Alicati without her advice would have been so different, Sema is a very well-spoken and interesting lady and Ali is super nice, kind and willing to help/assist, it was a really pleasure to stay with them. The breakfast they provided is priceless, excellent selection of cheese, and olives from different regions of Turkey and the homemade hams were all delicious. The rooms are very carefully decorated and gorgeous. We trully enjoyed our stay, looking forward to come back and would feel guilty by not sharing our great experience so others can also enjoy it.

I think it was an opportunity to meet these kind and very special people. The lady who is the owner of the house is a well educated and cultured Istanbul lady. I have also met with her daughter and I think having opportunity to listen her was a privilage. She is explaining the past times of the society. The son of the owner is working there and I think it is so kind to support his mother leaving all the thing he has in Istanbul. Very special people and being a member of their house made me feel good:) They are preparing home made jam at breakfast. The pnly thing, Iwould serve the orange juice more at the breakfast. The rooms were very clean and having the bathroom like under the doors of wardrobe was like a fairytale:) We came across with a bouquette when we returned to our rooms. It was so kind and makes you smile:) thank you.

From the moment we arrived (greeted with a refreshing tea and delicious home-made cake) to the day we left, Sema and her son Irmak were amazing. Hospitality was second to none, rooms were beautifully decorated and the beds incredibly comfortable. We were looked after as if members of the family. The hotel is nicely presented, delightful gardens and some great design ideas with a lovely family tradition. Breakfast is spectacular, so fresh and colourful - a perfect start to the day. The staff are all terrific and cannot be more helpful, special thanks for organising our trip to the beach and reserving sunbeds for us... it made us feel very special!

With my wife we went there for our honeymoon and we were extremely satisfied. Ms.Semra treated us like her family. Everyday we had special fresh breakfast. We were in the Purple Amethyst suite and it was beautiful. I recommend this beautiful hotel to everyone that would like to visit Alacati.

This has to be one of the better places we have stayed in, particularly so as it is a boutique hotel and not one of the big names where one ends up getting booked.

The Sultan Konak is a family-run hotel (we met all 3 generations, the landlady, her son and her mother), and feels every bit like you are a member of the family from the moment you step inside upon arriving. The owners showed a genuine interest in us, it was our first wedding anniversary, and they did everything they could to make our stay memorable.

Rooms and the property in general are kept warm and clean. Our room was particularly spacious. Breakfast included in the price is cooked in the family kitchen and is very special, with a vast array of unusual yet incredibly tasty homemade fresh jams and bread.

These are welcoming people who run an establishment which is the real deal in terms of providing guests with a genuine family feeling. Over two days we shared their family food (it was the matriarch's birthday on one day and they invited us to join the family for a small celebration), shared the family stories and made us feel more than welcome. We intend visiting again. If you haven't been to the Aegean you must visit Alacati, and when you do, you must stay in this hotel.
