“Fantastic Inn!!!”
Reviewed 30 September 2013

Stayed at the Dufferin for 3 nights with our 4 month old baby (Erin).
We had a fantastic time over in Killyleagh visiting friends and it was enhanced by our stay at the Dufferin Coaching Inn.
Room was clean comfortable and Leontine was the perfect hostess and went out of her way to help in anyway from ordering us a taxi to drying Erins baby grow & vest.
The Ulster Fry in the morning - Brilliant! Leontine's Banana bread - Amazing!

Can't say enough to do this little gem justice, we will definitely be back again.

Stayed at the Dufferin for 2 nights and was pleasantly surprised. Very welcoming, clean and comfy. Would recommend to anyone visiting Killyleagh or surrounding area. Leonine was extremely accommodating especially at breakfast where she would make it if she had it. Bed just too comfy and could have stayed in it all day

Stayed at the dufferin coaching inn for a night. What a great place to stay. Friendly and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. We would have no problem recommending it. Ann m bangor

Had a great stay in the Dufferin Coaching Inn this weekend. We were made very welcome from the moment we entered until we left. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing weekend. The rooms are really well decorated and very clean and the beds are soo comfy. There are a variety of hot and cold breakfast on offer in the morning. For dinner there is a great restaurant next door and it would be highly recommended as well, serving great local cuisine especially there variety of fish. After dinner we went upstairs for a few drinks and there was live music which started at 4 in the afternoon until close. Great weekend and will definitely back money well spent.

Room Tip: There are only 7 rooms so book quickly.

Had a wonderful weekend break in a beautiful room with a four poster bed and whirlpool bath. Utter comfort, beautifully decorated, spacious and welcoming. It was a beautifully restored coaching inn full of charm. Breakfast was fantastic with locally sourced ingredients and cooked to perfection. The hosts were delightful and had thought of everything their guests could ever want. Absolutely perfect.

This is perhaps one of the best B&Bs that we have ever stayed in so the write up is inevitably going to be full of superlatives. Everything about the place was just amazing.

The welcome is fabulous and genuine - Leonine continues to be a helpful and caring hostess throughout the stay. The building is a combination of some lovely old properties, including the local bank. The room that we had (Room A) was huge, beautiful and wonderfully equipped. Guests have use of a couple of lounges, including fast broadband. Breakfast is a culinary delight.

Outside of the property, Killyleagh is a very pretty small town on the shore of Strangford Lough - pretty enough to get a mention in Van Morrison's Coney Island song! Next door is the superb Dufferin Arms with a friendly pub upstairs, plus restaurant and off licence downstairs. They had a bubbles, banquet and buble party on the Saturday night which was sold out, but nonetheless they found space for us and we had an amazing evening to remember with plenty of craic. Further up the road is a deli and then the castle.
