Great service and selection of food. Lots of deli produce to choose from (both sit-in and takeaway). The only thing that let it down a little was that the coffee was just ok. As the food is great I will definitely be back.

Being fairly local to the restaurant I have been a number of times and with it fabulous setting in the shadow of the castle it has an amazing atmosphere that outsiders don't always appreciate. The food has always been excellent and the menu is always changing . Well worth a visit .

Outside in the sunshine of an October morning - what's not to like? Big cappucino and a slice of tart. It may be tiny but it is crammed with things that are good to eat and smells just how a good foodie place ought to smell

I have been going to this cafe since it opened. The food is excellent and not the same old same old stuff most cafe's put out. Their tray bakes are the best a lovely choice of friands, white chocolate and blueberry etc, lemon cake, interesting brownies always flavoured differently. Chilli one day something else the next. Their range of fillings for paninis, focaccia and bagels is top notch with excellent ingredients.
Service is very good. You are seen and spoken to very quickly on entering and unless it is incredibly busy food comes out fairly quickly. In the summer when the sun is out there is seating outside and you can look out onto Killyleagh Castle and listen to the swifts screaming down the street.
Most of the reviews portray this wee gem accurately. And Sheila A as for coffee top ups I'm sure you don't go next door to the Dufferin Arms and say can I have a top up when you have finished your drink. it's rather like saying can I have two coffees for the price of one.

All in all my favourite place to hang out for a cup of coffee and a light lunch.
