Poland is "new" to me, and so my experiences are fairly limited.
This hotel is extremely well situated with plenty of ski slopes to the rear, although a short drive to the nearest gondola station/chairlifts. The hotel was spotless, welcoming and warm in every sense. Staff had a great sense of humour (amaxzing since they didn't speak English any more than I do Polish), but we all tried and it was enormous fun.
The room was huge and airy, comfortable beds, and very clean. Having hurt my back, they carried our luggage to our room and couldn't have been more helpful. (Even to the extent that they jump started our rental car the next day after I left the lights on all night!)
We only had bar food here, but it was good, tasty, warming and very well priced. It doesn't seem the norm to put extras on room accounts in Poland, which caused a litle mix up, but readily resolved, much laughter and a round of the inevitable vodka on the house by way of making us feel better (which, needless to say, worked rather well).
The breakfast buffets are excellent, plenty of variety of cold meats, fresh breads, cakes, croissants, jams, cereals, teas, coffees, juices, etc
The hotel is perfectly placed for both the village and ski-ing, although that is not challenging by alpine standards, but a good safe area for training and refreshing skills.
We day tripped to the Slovakian border, about an hour's drive away into the mountains. Totally spectacular and unspoilt
In short, would we go back? In a hearbeat, even Ryan Air couldn't put us off from returning
