We stayed one night in the Four Poster. Beautiful, big room, very tastefully decorated. En-suite Jacuzzi bath (with coloured lights) and toiletries were a treat!

The personal welcome with a complimentary whiskey or sherry beside the log fire after a long drive was much appreciated.

Dinner was just beautiful and served in a nice relaxed setting.
Large choice at breakfast, which again was perfect.

Definately the place for a nice 'treat'. Everything was first class! The attention to detail and all the little 'extras' were very much appreciated. Thank you!

Definately return again.

Wow!, What another wonderful stay. The warmest of welcomes, accommodation of the highest standard and the food and wine to die for. Breakfast was also of a high standard, scramble eggs and smoked salmon, making my mouth water just thinking of it. will certainly return and hopefully for more than one night. Thanks Ian and Elaine and all the best for a busy season.

We booked this small hotel based on the positive reports here and were very pleased with the ambience of the hotel and the food and service were excellent. We payed extra for the superior turret room and although the room and view were superb, the bathroom was a small flimsey ensuite in bad condition. However, I understand refurbishment is underway to correct this which should make this hotel truly excellent for future guests.

By the way, this really is in the middle of nowhere without a pub in walking distance if that is what you are after...

We stayed Dinner, Bed and Brekfast for a weekend. We had a very enjoyable relaxed couple of days. The hotel is beautiful and full of character. The meals were superb and the service first class.
If you want a chance to unwind and reduce your stress levels this is the place to go.

Stayed dinner B&B for one night in Sept 2006.

We had a fantastic time at Tigh na Sgiath country house hotel. The hotel is a beautiful period building which retains many original features and provides a comfortable, friendly and relaxing atmosphere.

The breakfast and 5 course dinner were absolutely superb! Without doubt the Scottish cooked breakfast was the best breakfast we've ever had.

Can't wait to return!
