We thoroughly our short break staying in a Cornish yurt break, staying in the 20foot yurt. The setting is delightful with views across the moors, and the yurts beautiful and very well equipped with everything you might need. The bathroom facilities are great, the shower hot and the toilets fine. We enjoyed a campfire, and used the wood burning stove to keep the yurt warm. All the family enjoyed the trip. Good location to explore cornwall. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend arriving in daylight if at all possible.

we really loved the location of our little glade in the woods. We had the smallest yurt and it was perfect. It was separate from the others and no one came into our space. Complete quiet except for the birds and the rain on the roof which was enchanting. The composting toilet - a concern before arrival was perfectly fine. We loved the wood burner - it was lit every day. We had fires in the pit in the evenings and watched the sunset. When you run around in your normal life it was just so relaxing to slow down to this pace. the owners were lovely, very discreet but available when you want advice. We barbequed the organic burgers and sausages. Good beaches within half an hour for the surfing. Cant wait to return.

As a family of 4 with a fifteen year and a twelve year old, we had a really great time at Yurtworks. We live in a rural isolated area, but to have the chance to stop and take stock was what made the difference. Our fifteen year old forgot about her hair straighteners and went back to the basics of playing outdoors, being free and getting muddy!

We all really liked the yurt. It was very cosy and comfortable and we all slept well. The bathroom yurt with its wood burning stove to fill the hot water tank was a real treat, topped off by the candles and the time available to spend soaking! The bath is a better option on a colder day as the shower uses solar. The shower too was a big success.

I actually enjoyed washing up- it was because we did this in the outdoor kitchen area- very chilled!

St Breward is not a touristy village- this was a bonus for us. We enjoyed the village walks and the peace. We also enjoyed the local farm shop (St Kew Harvest 8 miles away) for the fantastic artisan breads and fresh fruit and veg.

The car park is steep and the walk to the washing machine stretches your leg muscles- but this wasn't a problem for us. On one very wet day we were invited exit the site via the farmyard if need be. If you are a nervous driver, parking at the top of the track and walking down might be a solution. The steepness did not detract from our holiday in the least.

One word of advice- pack your wellies and waterproofs. Don't worry about mud and puddles but make this part of a fab holiday- it does rain, a lot at times, in Cornwall!

We hope to return soon. Thank you.

My partner and I stayed here after we finished our degrees for some much needed relaxation and refuelling of batteries! The site was a lot easier to find then I expected and we were given a warm greeting and shown to our stunning yurt (20ft one), complete with horse and cow in the next field! The inside was just beautiful, a lovely interior and well thought out touches such as a small library of books and a map of the surrounding area. Well stocked kitchen area and the lovely touch of a homemade cream tea and local apple juice waiting for us. The bathroom and solar shower were shared and separate from the yurt but no issue. They really well thought out and a real treat with a wood burner to heat water for the roll top bath and all really clean and well kept.

A few niggles in an otherwise lovely weekend, the carpark is incredibly steep and I was scared going down and was so very pleased it hadn't rained and wasn't slippy when we were leaving. I know there is little they can do about the site but still, eep! Also whilst there is a bbq we were not told we had to bring our own charcoal for it and when we got there the local shop had already closed, luckily the owners had some left over from a previous guest. There is however a gas stove and a wood burning stove you can cook on. We were woken on our last morning buy the owner coming to clean the yurt, both shocking for her and us! They were lovely about our unintentional late checkout, I just can't remember seeing anywhere it was 10am! Anyway, yurtworks is an absolutely stunning site with warm and genuine owners and is perfect for family holidays or just friends and couples wanting to get away from it all! I am now a "glamping" convert.
