“Perfect accomodation in a beautiful location”
Reviewed 14 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We have just come back from a wonderful week in Harpe Cottage in Wilmcote. The cottage is stunning and has all the comforts of home and so much more. The location is fantastic and whilst it is peaceful and quiet it is only a few minutes into Stratford with all it's attractions.
Thank you so much for allowing us to stay, it was just perfect.

Liked best: The cottage was just stunning, and SO well presented.
Liked least: We had wifi issues in that the connectivity was patchy but that was a very small problem.

“Perfect for Christmas - or any time of year!”

Harpe Cottage is a beautiful oak-beamed cottage sat within a short drive of Stratford, Warwick and Leamington, making it a perfect base for trips out.

The place itself is redolent with atmosphere and all modern conveniences are sympathetically matched with the older features such as the inglenook fireplace and wooden stairs.

Everything you could require for a comfy, cosy romantic break is provided, including a generous welcome basket and even festive decorations for the Christmas period. Exquisite!

“Everything you need & want”

We need two weeks between sale of one house and moving into another and booked on internet almost at random. When we got there we were delighted with what we found. Charming old world cottage but with everything the modern traveller would want. Only 10 minutes car ride to Stratford upon Avon and 5 minutes to park & ride. Nothing too much trouble for the owners to make your stay enjoyable. No hesitation in recommending it.

“AMAZING COTTAGE THAT CANNOT DISAPPOINT”

We have returned today from another week at Harpe Cottage and were very sorry to leave. The cottage is wonderfully situated close to Stratford-upon-Avon and central for the Cotswolds. Perhaps unusually, given the high quality of accommodation, our two Jack Russells were also more than welcome and even received a welcome pack of treats upon arrival. You are left to enjoy your holiday knowing that help is nearby, if required, and the cottage has everything you could possibly need. It is high spec and has a luxurious feel. We shall certainly return next year and would highly recommend this accommodation. Definitely worth booking.

“Exceptional cottage in historic village.”
Reviewed 10 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

An historic and characterful cottage full of beams and stone flag floors. However, also equipped with all modern amenities to make for a perfect stay with a modern kitchen and secluded garden. The village is tranquil and a perfect base from which to explore the region. If you want history and culture then the area abounds in such, as well as famous gardens and beautiful old villages. We would certainly consider returning.

“Beautiful cottage ”
Reviewed 4 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Beautiful cottage in an idyllic village. We could not have felt more at home there. Loved the welcome basket and so clean and comfortable. Great location and transport links, train station and bus stop just around the corner. 10-15mins to Warwick and Stratford upon Avon. Also a nice walk along the canal into Stratford. Takes about an hour.

Couldn't recommend enough, fab cottage in a great location and the owners are super friendly and helpful.

“Even better than the pictures”

You know how sometimes the place you saw online only bears a vague resemblance to the property in real life? Yeah, this is not one of those times. Everything about this cottage from location to linens is perfect. A short walk to the train station, local store and pub. If you're up for a longer jaunt, Stratford Upon Avon is just an easy 3 miles down the canal or you can venture further afield with the Chiltern and Midland trains. The lovely owners are responsive and helpful if there's any question that isn't covered in their extensive visitor's guide that you'll find alongside a lovely welcome basket. The historic property has been meticulously renovated with all the mod cons, without losing any of its charm and character. Wish I could have stayed longer, can't wait to return.
