“A LOVELY COSY HISTORIC COTTAGE IN A LOVELY VILLAGE LOCATION”
Reviewed 23 November 2017 for a stay in November 2017

The village is very sleepy and steeped in history. A railway link to Stratford upon Avon is a real bonus. The cottage is lovely and retains much of the character of its 600 year history. The only reason for not rating as excellent is that the old wooden stairs leading to the first floor would be challenging to some.

The cottage amenities are brilliant. We could not have asked for more and the welcome pack of 'goodies' on arrival was most generous.

The only very slight problem we had is that a damaged kettle had been removed but not replaced but this was rectified as soon as we brought it to the owner's attention who could not have been more helpful.

A lovely short break and we would certainly return.

“Charming old cottage, comfortable, quiet and a nice welcome”
Reviewed 17 September 2017 for a stay in August 2017

I stayed here for 10 days at the end of August. Harpe Cottage is small but perfectly formed, comfortable and clean - just mind the low beams in the bedroom and bathroom and the steep old stairs.

Overall a very positive experience. Wilmcote is a small village not far from Stratford-upon-Avon with the bonus of having a train station if you need to go shopping or for a day out.

Comfortable compact rooms downstairs with a small backyard for sitting out in the sunshine. At other times of year you may be glad of the woodburner in the sitting room.

The bed is comfortable with the main bathroom being upstairs, boasting a good shower, with an additional toilet downstairs.

Any small problems I had were quickly dealt with, and a lovely welcome basket was left for me.

I will definitely be returning and would not hesitate to recommend to my friends.

“Amazing”
Reviewed 29 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

We have just left this fantastic little cottage with a heavy heart. Paul was very welcoming and sorted it out so that we could stay a extra night cos we loved it so much.
It was spotlessly clean, the welcome hamper was fab, the best we've had, there is nothing that they have not thought of.
It's a lovely stroll away from Stratford along the lock.
We will definitely be going back.

Thanks for the stay Paul and Chris we hope to see you soon

“A Jewel in Wilmcote”
Reviewed 9 January 2017 for a stay in December 2016

Absolutely everything you could ask for in a romantic holiday cottage in a delightful village only three miles from Stratford upon Avon. Harpe Cottage is beautifully appointed with everything you could need. Very friendly people in the' Mary Arden Pub' in the village, beautiful walks surround you and easy to get to anywhere as centrally located to all tourist spots in Warwickshire.

“Another perfect week in a perfect cottage.”
Reviewed 24 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We have returned for a third occasion having enjoyed a stunning week in and around the Cotswolds. The cottage remains immaculate and fully equipped like a home from home. We were made to feel most welcome at all times by Lee and Craig. We will definitely return.

“Perfect accomodation in a beautiful location”
Reviewed 14 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We have just come back from a wonderful week in Harpe Cottage in Wilmcote. The cottage is stunning and has all the comforts of home and so much more. The location is fantastic and whilst it is peaceful and quiet it is only a few minutes into Stratford with all it's attractions.
Thank you so much for allowing us to stay, it was just perfect.

“Perfect for Christmas - or any time of year!”
Reviewed 20 December 2015 for a stay in December 2015

Harpe Cottage is a beautiful oak-beamed cottage sat within a short drive of Stratford, Warwick and Leamington, making it a perfect base for trips out.

The place itself is redolent with atmosphere and all modern conveniences are sympathetically matched with the older features such as the inglenook fireplace and wooden stairs.

Everything you could require for a comfy, cosy romantic break is provided, including a generous welcome basket and even festive decorations for the Christmas period. Exquisite!
