“Perfect vacation with exquisite style and a personal touch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 August 2013

We spent 10 glorious days at the lovely palazzo Romani Adami at the heart of Fermo, a charming historic town some 7 km from the beaches of Porto San Giorgio at the Adriatic shore. The place is a very meticulously restored 17 century palazzo. The service was excellent - the staff were both friendly and always ready to help, attending to our particular needs. The breakfast was also tailored to fit our taste. We strongly recommend this place for families looking for quiet, comfortable and stylish vacation in the Marche region.

I was staying at the Palazzo Romani Adami for over a week now.
It is a lovely old Italian house in the heart of Fermo.
The service here was absolutely incredible.
Rooms/apartments look very original and differ in style from one another, offering fantastic views and atmosphere.
There is wi-fi connections and restaurant available at will.
An incredibly friendly and welcoming staff in lead with Mrs. Cecilia Romani Adami herself to whom you can always come if you have a query.

I recommend this place undoubtably!
Special prises and discounts available at time of different events in Fermo.

We had a very enjoyable stay in the Palazzo Romani Adami. The bed and breakfast is part of a 17th century palace located in an easy walking distance from the center of Fermo. The palace is a magnificent structure with frescoed ceilings, wide marbled staircases, and all the elegance one can imagine. Our accomodations were a bit more rustic, but very roomy and comfortable. We had a full bedroom, living area, and large kitchen. The kitchen was fully stocked with breakfast foods, baked goods, and fresh fruits for our enjoyment. All the people we met at the Palazzo including the owner, manager, and staff, were extremely kind, considerate, and helpful to us. They provided excellent guidance for the sights, history, fine shopping, and restaurants in and around Fermo and the beaches of San Giorgio.

This is the most intriguing and delightful hotel. Both the hotel and the city are a rare find.

We stayed two nights and although just my son and I were staying we were given a very charming 3 bed suite of the converted stables - called the Pantry.
On arriving Peter showed us around the palazzo with its original kitchens from 150 years ago. It is evident that the staff are immensely proud of the house. The rooms (all really suites) are mostly not in the main palazzo but converted from the stables at the back looking over the lawned garden.
The apartment is incredibly well-furnished with many books, artefacts, DVDs and personal effects of the family. It has a real sense of both grandeur and homeliness.

There are only a handful of rooms and I think most open out into the garden. There is no noise from the street.

The kitchen has a stocked fridge, fresh fruit, bread and there were fresh cakes from obviously a high-class bakers in Fermo. The Moka coffee pots were already filled with coffee and there were yoghurts and other drinks in the fridge. We were made to feel very much at home.

Fermo is an intriguing and undiscovered city in Le Marche. It's about an hour from Ancona Falconara airport if you take the coast road. It's a dark and atmospheric city but it is well placed for both sunbathing on the beaches at Porto San Giorgio or exploring inland into the Sibillini mountains. The roads are very good.

On speaking to the Contessa she was not aware of any British living in Fermo so it remains somewhat of a secret find.
We could have eaten in the apartment but we ate at the Enoteca Bar e Vino on the first floor of the loggia in Piazza del Popoplo and also at a very good small trattoria through an archway on the left at the top of Corso Cavour. We parked alongside the city walls just outside the city where there were no parking restrictions. It's then only a 5 minute walk to the Palazzo.
